Hello!
My name is Christine and I'm new here. This here is Jillian Parker. She's able to regenerate herself, heal any injury, something she doesn't know the full extent of yet since she hasn't had any serious injuries that needed healing. At least none she was sober enough to remember.
She's a bit of a wild child, but she has the makings of a good heart. She likes parties, boys, drama, and not being in class.
She's deeply protective of her little brother, Calvin Parker, and the complete opposite of him too.
She's very outgoing, friendly, independent, stubborn, etc. and she's in trouble more often than not. But she really is a sweety!
So she's going to need lots of friends, some broken hearts, hopeful hearts, enemies, and frenenemies. You know, the whole shebang.

So...I don't mean to clutter the page, but I tried AIM and we may just be on at different times: haven't found you (Mao, that is) yet. I'm thinking Mao's party would be an excellent place to introduce Coin, preferably fairly soon.
I wanted to both make sure this was okay with you and figure out what, if any, character relationship they would have. I suspect they have a lot in common, as Coin seems like one of the few people who can handle pretty much everything Mao dishes out. This, of course, either means that they're likely good friends, or that Mao sort of looks up to Coin, or that they really get on each others nerves (as both would try to steal the scene, and, if they're not trying to steal it together, someone's going to be left out). Thoughts?
The same applies to everyone: I'm fairly new to this format of RP, so I haven't used AIM to contact you yet. Regardless, I'm trying to figure out what Coin will be walking in to. Thoughts?

We would like to take a poll to see how people feel about writing tenses, and whether you all would mind if Michael wrote in present tense. He feels that he writes better in this tense and while no one else would have to change their tense or respond in any other tense than 3rd, we want to gauge everyone's opinions on it before we make a decision.
All comments are screened. No one but the mods will see your opinions here. At the end of the day, it's our decision, but I want everyone to feel comfortable with it and playing here (including Michael).

As we all know, this game has a giant potential to turn dark real fast. Because of this, Emily and I can't always be around to keep tabs on things. With the hurricane, Jacquelyn's arrival and many of the more dangerous powers being picked up, I thought it would be a good idea to have this post to sort of get an inkling into what people are planning to do with their characters.
I don't want in depth answers on your plot, but if there is something important that might need mod approval (death, pregnancy, severe injury, or anything else you feel might be included in this), then please comment here with it. Even if it's far off in the future, and you're just maybe THINKING about doing it, post it. I'm not going to shoot down ideas or decline them. However, I feel that it's a good idea to know when some of these things might happen, whether or not people are willing to kill their characters and how because we might be able to include them in game-wide plot.
All comments here will be screened as well, as sometimes people want their plots to be a surprise to players.
