Josie sat on her bed waiting for Jill to arrive. She took a deep breath, here is was, the moment she had foolishly thought would never happen. She had to tell her best friend the whole truth about her first time. It wasn't that she regretted it, but it was a little embarrassing on her part. That she would just throw something as precious as her virginity away because her "boyfriend" had snubbed her, more precisely had a mini freak out.
She ran a hand through her hair, what would Jill think of her. Josie assumed that when she told Jill she had sex Jill assumed that it was with Riley. But now Josie had to tell her that it wasn't with Riley, that she had cheated on him with a guy she barely knew. An older guy, who knew exactly what he was doing...She flushed slightly at the memory. Had it really been six months ago? She still could remember almost every detail of that night. Sure they were both a little drunk, but she was lucid enough to know what she was doing and to remember details. Wow, is all she could say at the memory, wow. Amazing, that's another word that ran through her mind. David totally knew what he was doing. After that one night she hadn't really gone around the pub anymore, she wasn't wanting to deal with the awkward tension that she knew would surround any conversation they had. So she had decided to spend some time at other places around town. Such as Elwood Rocks...and then she met Evan and all thoughts of David had vanished...until now.
Josie sighed after her little trip down memory lane. She heard a knock at the front door and skipped down the steps. As much as she was dreading this conversation, she was somewhat excited to finally tell her best friend. Keeping this secret had been gnawing at her for a while, it would be good to finally get it off her chest.
