The weather was starting to take a turn for the worse. It looked like storm clouds were moving in, and there was still so much to do! That wasn't right. The weather wasn't supposed to get bad until later. What was up with that? She'd dressed for the warm weather, too. A t-shirt and jeans, both of which did wonders for her figure in her opinion, while looking great, were not the clothes to be caught outside in a thunderstorm in. Her husband would love the way she looked, but not the way she'd come home soaked to the bone. And her kids, oh, her kids. They would be so embarrassed. Anna was singing again.
Her voice wasn't unpleasant, by any means. No, not at all. She sounded quite lovely most of the time, but it was that music. She didn't know why her kids didn't like the same music she did. It's not like it was really that old, only about 40 years or so. It didn't matter to her. Good music was still good music. If her kids didn't recall, in another two and a half decades, the Beatles would be a century old. So she went on her merry way, just singing her song and finishing her errands. Dinner was going to be a fun project tonight. It was time to clean out the fridge, and she'd thought of some unique combinations of leftovers. However, she needed some other ingredients first. So she'd wandered from store to store, looking for the best and brightest of fruits and vegetables to make what she needed.
Finding what she wanted, she'd gone on her way and kept singing her song. She passed a friendly face, waved sweetly, and offered a greeting. "Good afternoon!"
