When: Saturday night

Natalie was not sure where this bad weather was coming from. She had been basking in the glow of the sun for most of the week, soaking it up, and now there was a storm raging like nothing she'd ever seen before. The thunder had her wishing she had a dog to curl up with, but all she had as she attempted in vain to work on her essay was her pillow to clench on to. Sighing, Natalie stared blankly at her equally blank paper, jolting as a crash echoed through her apartment.
And then nothing.
It was pitch black, and Natalie grasp instantly tightened around her pillow. Wide eyes stared into the blackness as she blindly scooted off of her bed. It was eerily quiet, her music having been shut off, and the only sounds she could hear were the distant thoughts of her neighbors. Neighbors! Neighbors like Evan Elwood!
Natalie groped blindly for the end table, managing to find it with her shin, of course. "Shit!" She heard her keys jingle as she did so and quickly scooped them up, stumbling towards her front door and locking it behind her (the last thing she needed was a break-in during a power outage). She hurried over to the next apartment, shivering as the wind attacked her. She should have brought her stupid blanket with her. "Evan?" she called, knocking loudly on his door. "Evan, are you in there?"
