Natalie squinted into the light of Evan's cell phone that seemed much brighter than it should have been. She was now slightly embarrassed to realize she had zero make up on and was walking around in a pair of Snoopy boxers and fuzzy slippers. Super attractive. But the next boom of thunder was plenty enough to send her shuffling into his apartment, and she let out a soft sigh of relief as she was relieved from the wind.
"Hey, thanks. It's crazy out there," she breathed, hugging herself and rubbing her hands along her arms to warm herself back up. "The power just went out. I wouldn't be surprised the wind knocked something over." She smiled sheepishly. "It was just kind of creepy in my apartment by myself. I'm not bugging you, am I?"
