Girls were confusing. In fact, girls were really freaking confusing. One girl, in particular, had Nico's head in a mess. She had come over and it had been a surprisingly fun time considering that Nico had been in one of his moods before she had showed up. They had danced around his room, and Nico would swear he had seen her blush on more than one occasion, which had to be a good sign, right? And then he had actually held her hand for a little while, although that was technically during dancing...

Of course, she also insisted on talking about Sean and his stupid... what the hell were those things called? Puddles? Fuck if he knew, but he didn't like the thought of Sean giving them to her, whatever they were. What did she see in him, anyway? He was a tool! He asked the entire female population to take his virginity! When did that become appealing?

Nico was almost back into a huffy mood by the time he reached JJ's house and knocked on the door. Luckily, JJ had a knack for snapping him out of things, usually via video games, junk food, or some low key mischief. "JJ," he called in a mocking sing-song voice as he let himself in. "Honey, I'm hooome."

JJ hadn't been expecting visitors. His mother never called him honey, and while Josie might, it definitely wasn't her. He popped his head out of his room. Seeing no one he crept onto the landing and glanced down the stairs towards the front hallway, rolling his eyes.

He crossed his arms, "Where's dinner, sugar plum? I'm starved!" He teased in a demanding, man-of-the-house voice.

Nico pretended to look affronted for a moment. "This is what I get when I walk through the door? Where's dinner? This relationship is never going to work if you can't appreciate me for more than my italian cuisine!"

He cracked a grin as he drifted over to the stairs and lazily sat down on the bottom of them. "Come entertain me. I'm bored." And he couldn't get his stupid brain to shut up about Sasha, but that was another story.

Typical JJ, blowing all his money in one fell swoop. Nico wasn't exactly a cash-conscious guy himself, though, he realized, and he cracked a smile as he realized he'd done almost the exact same thing. Empty wallet. Totally worth it. "Yeah, I just bought it, too, but fuck it. I need a distraction. Let's go." He heaved himself to his feet and started back up toward JJ's room.

	"Seriously? Do it." Nico was never one to turn down food, especially of the free and made by someone else variety. While JJ was heading toward the kitchen Nico didn't have to look him in the face. Maybe that was why it was so easy to bring up Sasha. Or something close to her anyway. "Hey, so, what do you think about this Sean kid? Total tool?" (Reply to this) (Parent)
