Who? Seth & Ariella
What? Run in at the hospital
When? 6/30 @ 11am
Where? Hospital
Rating? Low?
She looked out of place, she felt out of place, and she wanted to go home already. Ari had only been on the island for a few weeks at best but she already knew that it was going to be rough here. She also knew, though, that she was already committed to the Project and had a nice job and new family counting on her as well. She wasn't a fan of her husband because she didn't really know him but Ari was dealing the best she could.
At work, it was just as tough as it was at home. She didn't know any one, it was hard as hell to make friends with any of the nurses or doctors because they were all so close already (considering there were so few of them), and Ariella still had a rough time finding her way around the place. She was used to running around Interfaith, the last hospital she worked at in Brooklyn - not this small hospital with limited bed and patients. Added to all of the other stressors in her life, Ari was more than a little frazzled.
Ariella paused while restocking the nurses station to listen to the overhead speaker blaring out: CODE BLUE, ROOM 114, CODE BLUE. She wasn't the one that was supposed to be running the code team but she didn't see anyone sprinting behind the doctor, to the rescue like they should have been. Dropping all of the stuff she had been refilling onto a gurney, Ariella ran after the doctors and grabbed all of the things she knew they would need like the ventilation bag and the set of different sized tubes to put in a chest tube, among other things. Not paying attention to where she was going, Ari turned from the nurses station and started to sprint after the doctors, going around the corner to follow them carrying everything they'd need. Right as she was turning around the corner though, Ari ran straight into something, or rather someone. Everything she was carrying spilled out of her arms as she stumbled back and lost her balance, falling to the ground in a cloud of her white scrubs with her long brown hair in a tangled mess now. Before she even had a chance to comprehend that she was on the ground and everything had fallen around her, Ari was already apologizing profusely to the person she had just trampled.
