Ari chuckled at his comment but refrained from saying anything. 'No, they're not. Most back off when they see a wedding band,' she commented in her head. "That's nice to know. You don't seem like the home-wrecking type." Ari was, of course, being sarcastic but she didn't let it show in her tone of voice. She wasn't as on-ends since he seemed to be backing down and trying to just be friendly with her. She didn't mind someone trying to be friendly with her but she did mind when they tried to flirt with her.
Again, Ari laughed at his comment. She wanted to correct what he had said to be 'bumbling oafs like myself' but she just giggled instead. She found it was always better to just keep things to yourself, especially considering she was the new kid on the block and wanted to make friends.
But when he winked at her, Ari quieted her giggling and pseudo-coughed to have it act as a segue. "Well, this saint has to get back to work. I'll make sure to keep an eye on your mother for you and let you know if there's any change with the poor thing." She smiled and looked at Seth with her big doe eyes, as if asking him if he'd step aside so she could get back to work. She didn't want to rush him along but she also didn't know if he had anything more to say. Not wanting to be rude, Ari waited for Seth to make the next move.
