Hi, everyone!
For those of you who don't read my personal journal @ ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) oh_kaity or who aren't in my other game, I just want to let you know that I've got a six-week run of The Full Monty that opened tonight. I've been in rehearsals most weeknights but now I'm in performances most weeknights and Sunday afternoons----six shows a week, pretty much. So I'm definitely AROUND during the day, I'm just not here at night except for late late. I'm not going on hiatus, I'm just letting you know where I am. Because of hell week and the IJ outage I'm a bit behind----I'm going to post a backdated thread/narrative with Casey coming back to the school if Emma wants to bitchslap her? Mebbe? XD

Hidey ho, y'all!
This here is Max Guthrie. Oh my god, you say, another Guthrie? Yup! They're multiplying like wildfires, or jack rabbits, or really, like a Guthrie does. Max is the son of Iron Man (I'm serious) but he's got a "special" situation. Apparently I, much like Disney, have a complex and must make all families with single mothers. Max has an explosive power, but he combats it by blowing off steam, then sleeping. He's also slightly bipolar in the sense that his power makes him that way. Most of this stuff you can read in his application/profile.
Thing to know is Max has been gone for a year and just came back, so he may or may not know your kid. Given that there's been some changes and what not... you know. Something.

Characters? Everyone remembers distantly the media storm that was the whirlwind courtship, marriage and divorce of one Emma Frost and Warren Worthington III. Oh yes, no couch jumping but we were close when the inevitable happened and the two split as loudly as they had gotten together.
Some say their pre-nup was powered by the force of a thousand lawyers' cold dead hearts. *spooky fingers*
Thusly, Warren is greatly involved in the funding of the Academy, but he don' come 'round here no' mo' to avoid You Know Who. But this is why we invent daughters.
Meet Contessa Harlow Worthington, mostly called Duckie, one of those unfortunate nicknames that occurs in adolescence. She was time-shared between the two parents so if you grew up in the Mighty Mutant Marching Society, you probably remember her. Hey! You might have even given her the nickname! Any takers? |
