hello to all! i'm ray and i'm happy to say that i'm new to the game and bringing in the mistake of scott summers & betsy braddock. yes mistake! it all started with a couple of drinks, which led to two drunk x-men in a hotel room. and brandon james braddock ( ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) psys ) was the product of that night. betsy left the states and traveled back to her native land of england where she raised her son. and now she's returning as the world art teacher alongside her son, who she has recently told who was his father. omg! trouble anyone?
as for brandon, he's just your average brit. being raised in a luxurious castle didn't really faze the young mutant because betsy taught him values beyond the things she could buy him. but, honestly, he is a bit spoiled sometimes but he tries to keep it to a minimum. he's also a bit honest. too honest i might add! he's learned how to be a bitch from his mother, but wouldn't call himself one at all. lol. he just speaks his mind and anyone who doesn't like it will be haunted in their dreams. but overall he's a gentleman to the heart. and all he really wants to do is get to know his summers side of the family. remember! he's just arriving so when he does reveal his true parentage it might be a shocker to the school because brandon is younger than catie, hence scott cheated on jean. omg! drama!
so he needs friends. really cute ones. lol. j/k. maybe one or two enemies. give or take. you guys could get at me @ hyperions via PMing or try both of my aim sns, wongilicious or my new one ms ferosha couture.

Say hello to Charlie (no not that Charlie, he's dead, but this guy was named after him). He's 21, he's got a dad named Logan, and a mom named Val (Cooper that is), and he's what passes for the librarian at the school. Yes, Logan's son is a librarian.
He's been here for ages, so you know, yay backstory! He's not overly friendly, but as long as you don't touch his stuff, or abuse your library privileges he won't bite.
A note on his NPC mom: Val Cooper is on the Commission on Superhuman Affairs, so when that NPC shows up, it's not always to visit her kid. Sometimes she's here to check out the school, and make sure all the super powered people are behaving themselves.

Okay, so... are you sick of new characters yet? Are you so confused you can't see straight? I know I am! :D I know I am but that doesn't stop me from having a new character. This is K.D. (also responsible for hypersensed and benjy_p). I'm really sore and exhausted from a dance rehearsal so forgive me if this isn't completely coherent. I hurt. Because I fell and faceplanted. Literally. But that's off-topic. I swear I'm not a klutz. Moving on!:
This is Casey Carter.
Casey Carter is the daughter of a civilian named Belinda Carter. She was raised in a double-wide trailer in the Arizona desert. She's fifteen, and has spent the last two years hitchhiking around the country and robbing convenience stores. She's got some wicked powers. What she doesn't know is that she's the daughter of some dude named Cain Marko. Juggernaut? Maybe you've heard of him, I don't know.
So what you've got here is a pint-sized tomboy who packs a punch. She's got her daddy's powers----once she starts, she just can't stop, and that means smashing through just about anything and literally punching your face in. She's super strong and super tough, pretty much physically invulnerable ... and because she doesn't have complete awareness of herself in this awkward adolescent stage, she tends to break shit. A lot. Very often.
She's JUST arrived at the school... like... today. I'll write something up when I'm not comatose. Basically, she got picked up by the X-Men after she made it to New York City and ended up in a scuffle with them while trying to commit a robbery. She's not sure how she feels about going to school, but she digs the idea of free room and board... and lots of free food. She's tough, she's rude, and she's Grade A Evil Lackey Material. She's the brawn to someone else's brains. She's four feet and eleven inches of pure superpowered destruction.
