Fourteen Shades OOC

Hullo everybody! Its Nox again, and I bring you Orion Black!

Orion is 16 and from the autumn of 1945, where he was just heading off to his 6th Year at Hogwarts, literally walking through the barrier to Platform 9¾ (obviously he doesn't end up there!). So he'll essentially be pulled backwards in terms of months to July, which is where all of us currently are, but will still be 16 as his birthday was very recently. He will be a student studying and living in the Castle as of this morning, but if any of his family members (and there are so many of them) want him to come and live with them, then that is always an option!

He was in Slytherin House at Hogwarts and he played Quidditch for the house team, in the position of Chaser, from his 2nd year onward. Beyond that, he mostly kept to himself as he is quite a reserved individual in terms of physical socialising, but he has no problem speaking his mind if its an option.

He's obviously not aware of anything that happens in his future; that he has a son already in the village, that he has nieces and nephews in the village, or that he gets married at all or how far his relatives go thanks to the wonders of marriage! So learning any or all of that information might be quite a shock for him.

Hi everyone!! Sooo excited to doing le intro post :-) I'm here because I casually asked Devin if she had anything good on at the moment and she gave you guys a glowing review, so you all know who to bow down and thank when you discover the true depths of my awesomeness (or who to blame when it turns out I suck, idk)

I'm Andy, I've been around in RP world for a while though I was away for a couple years and started playing again around the start of this year. More info on me and my character history can be found at my newly renovated ~*CDJ*~ which is the pride of my life and isn't that just sad!

Moving on, you may not have noticed him because he's just peeking his little nose cautiously around the corner, but this is Peter. (Ahhh, can't you just hear all the village residents groaning and brushing up on Unforgivable curses). A little explicatión on my friend here. I know the easiest way to play Peter is to make him young enough he doesn't remember or couldn't imagine doing any of his future crimes, however I've decided not to do that here because 1) It's been done here before and 2) It's been done by me before, at Lockewood, some time ago. Therefore in the spirit of going in a different direction, (and possibly just sadism), Peter comes to you from November 1981. Fresh missing finger, dead/imprisoned friends and everything. He's been living in a sewer the last couple of weeks and he does NOT smell good.

So. Full Peter profile is ~*here*~ but here are some connections I'll be trying to work on.

Seeking: Death Eaters, mates from his former club. I've an idea for a first post that should help with this. While Peter knows that plenty of his DE mates probably want to kill him just as much as the other side for leading their Master to the slaughter, he really doesn't have much other choice at this point. His stay-as-a-rat plan was going so well up to the point he got inter-dimensionally railroaded. Oh - and there's a little story in his history about how he joined the Death Eaters starting with this guy who bought him drinks and introduced him to his friends and stuff, so if anyone wants to put their hand up to be that guy, that'd be sweet.

Avoiding: Former friends, future enemies. Despite appearances Peter is not an idiot and will be hiding his little ratty nose away for as long as he can. People may start to get the feeling that he's around (and there's always the risk of certain people leaking his presence) before actually seeing him. Of course he can't stay under the floorboards for long, and I fully look forward to any amount of hell breaking loose in his face when he's caught out.

Finding New friends. It would be nice for Peter to meet some people he didn't know before, who could eventually help him realise his mistakes (not that he isn't fully aware of them already) and encourage him back towards the side of the good guys, so he can make amends for what he did. Also, someone who can help him sort out his mess of sexual confusion (see full history section for more info) would be deeply appreciated.

This week I'm actually out of my normal routine at a fitness retreat, so while I'll be around it probably won't be in peak times. Okay so hi guys! I know I'm busy with all of my one other character, but Greg was getting lonely and so HARRY.

So Harry's 22, from 2002, still kinda new to the aurors but kicking ass at it (since he'll be running the place in another five years). He's off-again with Ginny currently, but in his own timeline that would have been changing to on-again-for-good soon.

Now, give me the goods here. I know a hell of a lot of you had things going with other Harrys, and of course he knows most people here canonically. Let me know where we stand. :)

Neville comes to you just after the war, so he's a badass, but he's still a Neville-style badass. He fought the war and now he's trying to be an Auror but failing miserably because he's not exactly good at it. He just wants to make plants grow, okay?

Everything you want or need to know about him is here in his bio. I would like any and all of the lines you have to offer me. Neville's a friendly sort, even to previous baddies. For the most part. He's still a little bitter about the whole parents being tortured to insanity thing.

Hello, everyone! I'm Lynn, and this is Greg Goyle. I am super excited to be part of this game, it seems utterly brilliant already. :)

Now, Greg. The biggest thing about Greg is that he's aged up quite a bit. He's 26 now, so he lived through the war and a lot of years afterward. His folks were both gone after the last Battle, and his friends were dead or scattered all over, so he's made his way on his own since then. He's been working and living in a mostly Muggle city, and hasn't actively avoided the wizarding world but hasn't gone looking for it either, mostly because it wants nothing to do with him.

You'll find him not a lot calmer and not a lot smarter than in his Hogwarts years, but he's definitely able to think for himself now, and he's got kind of a savantish philosophical view about the war and his part in it. He's an adult, and not too bad of one. Being on his own's been good for him.

So yes. That's us. Hi.

OH ETA TO ADD that my AIM is dumbrute, (one b).

Tonya again with my third and probably last kidlet or so I think for the time being. This is Isabella Montgomery but she doesn't mind if you call her Bella.

She's Analisa's twin sister, a Gryffindor, and seventeen. She comes from just days after her brother's attack and death at the hands of Fenrir Grayback so she's trying to make sense of that. Waking up in a strange place isn't going to help much with that. Canon wise she comes from a time when things weren't too bad, Dumbledore is alive (she just seen him a couple days ago!) and really before her brother's death she wasn't overly involved in the war.

Typically she's a pretty outgoing personality that embodies the Gryff bravery in the sense she wants to try EVERYTHING, at least once. It was this desire that lead her to want to be a curse-breaker so she could do something new, dangerous, and see the world. She was even going to do an internship after her graduation from Hogwarts which was coming up. Since her brother's death she's feeling a bit muted but she'll bounce back quickly. In the village she's the Dream Interpreter! She's excited about that! People's dreams are interesting and she wants to open her own shop and just work at doing that. Of course she's living with her sister too.

Hello! It’s Meredith here, and I’ve got the super awesome James Potter.

I think everyone knows who James Potter is (unless you’ve been living under a rock, which I suppose is cool too, but gtfo).

He’s going to be your standard, fun loving, arrogant kind of dickish self, but he really wants to get to know his grandchildren and even more painful for him to say, great grandchildren. Also, expect him to be spending LOTS OF TIME with Harry, Lily and Remus. Because fuck yeah.

He’s from a few weeks before his death, they’d just gone into hiding, so he doesn’t really know about anything yet. And will be less than pleased. BUT HEY, NEW BABY. So that’s cool.

He demands all of the plots, okay?

Some VERY quick notes (as it's now 3am and I need sleeps)

+ Alecto is 17, taken from her final year at Hogwarts
+ She'll be living and studying at the castle, and will be the resident grape grower in her spare time. Which she's really excited about. No, really.
+ She loves Herbology. She's crazy about plants and stuff. She wants to marry a Tibetan turnip and live in a flower. All of that. idk.
+ She's the sort of girl who will push you down if you're mean to her. So watch out for her temper.
+ AmycusAmycusAmycusAmycus. She's a bit obsessed. Although she spends most of her time hating him. Best not to go there, really.
+ She doesn't like muggles/muggleborns, because they made her parents cry. Basically. Though she's used to muggleborns at school, so she won't be too bothered atm. She'll likely just turn away.
+ She'll be OK with most people, I think. Naturally if you're mean to her, she wont be afraid to retaliate.
+ Deep down she's not a bad kid. At least not yet.

Hello lovelies, I'm bringing you more heartache and angst.

This is Galilea Moon. She's 18, a Slytherin from Harry's year, and she's coming from the morning after the battle of Hogwarts. I'm going to keep this short because she's a mess...

What your character will know about her:

• Slytherin class of 1998
• Pureblood
• Quiet, aloof, and a little cold sometimes
• She disappeared with her younger brother after the war, though her family never reported either of them missing. That's because she obliviated them and stole him away.

What they won't know but will soon find out:

• She killed Colin Creevey
• She killed Colin Creevey to save her baby brother
• She doesn't know that she got Tobias away from the people who made her life a living hell

Long story short: Lea has spent her whole life being abused by her older brother, and emotionally abused by her mother. The hat wanted to put her in Hufflepuff, but that would have put her in danger of dying, almost literally, so she wasn't ever Slytherin enough, but she was too pure for everything else. The games and masks and she doesn't know who she is, and she doesn't know how to be a friend. Now, something in her has broken entirely, and she knows she doesn't deserve it.

BUT! She does need plots...so...throw it at me!

OH! She's the town narrator, and people watches, so she's not being creepy...exactly! and she's in house 33.

So this lady here is Marlene McKinnon, a 21 year-old former Hufflepuff from the Marauders year. She is a bundle of inappropriate energy and fun and about ready to make friends with anyone willing enough to join her cool parade.

She is arriving from her last day (which she doesn't know about) just prior to the rehearsal dinner of her younger sister Lucy to a one Mr Travers. Yes. That one. The one that arranges for Marlene and her entire family to be murdered that night.

This is Liam Connolly! Everyone get excited!

Liam Connolly was a Gryffindor, a year over James & Co, he was on the quidditch team and gave his captaincy over to James when he graduated. He was signed to the Cannons during his last year of school, and stayed there for a season before being moved to Puddlemere. He was very famous... like tabloid famous. He was in the papers all the time, usually with a pretty (married) woman. Don't get me wrong, he was famous for his quidditch game too, he won awards, and people loved him for that. But his game off the field was just as appreciated. He was a bit of a partier, and as a result (unbeknownst to him) he had a few illegitimate kids *coughcoughErnie&Nathancough* and well, ignored the war mostly.

He's from 1996. He's a coach for Puddlemere now. He's settled down a bit, has a wife and twin girls who are three. Um. Lots of awesome things.

It’s Amber!

Today I have my last boo, Hestia Jones. Hestia Jones is 35 (no old jokes, Caradoc) comes from the summer of 1997, after having taken in her niece Megan and Nephew Peter because they’re parents were recently imprisioned/murdered.

Hestia was a Slytherin, a year younger than the marauders. She’s Old School Order, and probably going to lose her freaking mind when she finds out that all of her friends are alive here. She’s had to deal with a hell of a lot of survivors guilt and a bit of ptsd right after the first war. She’s not one for violence, really, though she knows he way around a wand, she was brought up to be a “proper” lady, and still puts a lot of stake in acting well-bred. She’s a bit of fun though, and wicked smart.

She’s a bit neurotic though, prone to bouts of Obsessive compulsiveness, and states of heightened emotion. She’s cool though, and loves all of the Order members ever. OH! And she works at the Ministry as an obliviator.

Okay. Guys. It's Cate again. This is legitimately my final character. Don't be sad about that though. He's super exciting and you're going to love him. If you don't, that's fine, but you're wrong and I hate you.

OKAY. This is Dennis Creevey (cue excited screaming). Dennis is currently 22 years old, which means he's from 2005. He's coming here from the 7th anniversary of the Final Battle so he'll be understandably frazzled about all this.

Things you should know about Dennis: Losing Colin really messed him up. Any of his friends that tried to talk to him would have been turned away because he holed himself up in his room for the months that followed. Anyone who went to Colin's wake or funeral would be aware that he was basically catatonic and just sort of stood by the casket until his parents ushered him away. He spent two months in Mungo's after it and started his fourth year of schooling late as a result. Anyone still at Hogwarts at that point would have been aware of it. In addition to this, when he returned he was not the same. He was much more moody than before. Prior to Colin's death he was the personification of happiness, but that changed after the war. He worked through it though. He's still a bit messed up. He holds on a bit too tightly to the people in his life so he tends to be a little overwhelming and overprotective, but he's just as sweet and kind as he was before. He likes fanciful things and loves reading fictional stories. Escaping into other worlds is a coping mechanism for him so if he's in a mood he'll disappear behind a book or a comic. He took up photography in his fourth year because it helped him feel closer to Colin and at this point in his life he works professionally as a photographer. However, here he'll be the hospital secretary so anyone involved at the hospital will know Dennis! He'll be living at house number 13 with Liam Connolly.

Additionally! He's going to have a hard time dealing with the Death Eaters roaming free here. It took Dennis like forever to forgive people even on his own side. He was angry with Harry and the people closest to him for not saving Colin and he only recently forgave them for it after years of them trying. Needless to say, people on the other side is just a ... yeah ... it's a no go. Sorry guys.

Look ye here. This is Erin with character number five! Finally finished Edwyn Ravenclaw.

So, Edwyn's been in town for a month, but he's kept to himself as he got over the cold that was supposed to kill him and as he reunited with his wife (he'd already been away for a few months. A man has needs). He has 10 years and three months to make up for with her, and 14 years with Helena. If you've been to the castle, you might have seen him floating around, but now he's out to play.

Edwyn is the type of man who has always had two masks to wear: Duke and Edwyn. The Duke is fair, soft spoken but authoritative, and a good leader. Edwyn is curious to a fault. He likes to know how things work, how they go together, and he will take them apart to figure it out. If he was born in modern times instead of 949, he would be that guy in Target that makes all the little toys dance because the button says "Press Here". He's very giving, especially of his time.

Basically, Eddie is the nice guy with the laugh all comedians want in their audience because it's infectious. He's helpful, honest, kind, and fair. He's the town judge and toy maker. And he wants to know one and all and all the things.
