Humming one of Ginny's songs to herself, Tess pad barefoot into the kitchen to fix them both a coffee to start their morning. She'd heard through the grapevine that the Morrison's were opening up a center for mental health and she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't curious, so she figured she'd pop over and have a chat with them. After coffee, of course. Coffee was needed. Coffee was life. "Babe, am I bringing this to you, or are you coming to me?" She called out, smiling, content.
Ginny, hilariously, was the exact opposite of Rachelle when it came to functioning in the morning. Already dressed in a black suit jacket over a classic Blondie tee, with black leather pants and matching boots, she was all smiled and energy despite having just woken up.
"Coming!" She called out with a grin, giving Tess a sweet little smooch as she walked past her to grab a few waffles out of the freezer.
Tess looked at Ginny out of the corner of her eye and smiled. "It's criminal how sexy you look right now. I have half a mind to take you back to bed," she said, not joking in the slightest. While Ginny was dressed and ready for the day, Tess was still wearing an oversized tee, her underwear and nothing else. She figured that after the coffee she'd worry about taking a shower.
Ginny sweetly blushed at that comment, still occasionally surprised by people finding her so attractive. Her self-esteem was definitely a work in progress. Hey, at least she didn't feel the need to cover her arms anymore.
"Behave, you." Ginny laughed, giving the blonde a playful swat on the ass. "I have to get to the studio. Laying down some vocals today for our next album, and the earlier I start, the earlier I can be done."
Tess squeaked. "And the earlier you can get back home," she agreed. She couldn't help it but be in an affectionate mood this morning, though. She smooched Ginny's cheek and gingerly handed her her drink. "Not gonna lie, you're in for a world of cuddles later."
"So what's on your agenda today, sweetie? Aside from planning epic cuddle sessions, obviously." Ginny winked, grabbing the waffles as they popped out of the toaster, and setting them next to her coffee.
Tess took a sip of her coffee. She took it black. "Well, I figure a trip to the gym will feature at some point." She owned a small gym in Freedomtown, which did wonders for keeping her physically fit, as well. "And... Well, Galador's worst kept secret lately has been that the Morrison's were looking at opening a mental wellness center. I thought I might go and talk to them, see if they need a hand."
"Oh, honey! That's amazing!" Ginny practically squealed. "That's so perfect for you. That's the kind of job you were BORN for."
"You think so?" Tess asked with a blushy smile. She worried that it was a pipe dream more than anything, since she didn't have any formal training when it came to counseling others. Still, her life experience had to count for something. "I just wanna do more, you know?"
"I really do." Ginny nodded enthusiastically. "You have such a good heart, and you're at your most satisfied when you're helping people." Adorably, Ginny was now gazing at her with a potent combination of proudness and pure want.
Oh dear. Now that was a look. Tess was rendered momentarily speechless. She gazed at Ginny, glad that she was able to see her for who she was and who she wanted to be. "I am." She set her coffee cup down and cupped Ginny's cheek. "That's in large part due to you. You make me feel whole again. Like I'm finally who I'm meant to be."
"I think that's actually true both ways." Ginny mused, grinning as she went in for a little smooch. "I think you and I bring out the absolute best in one another. We're each other's missing piece."
While she still intended to go and talk to the Morrison's, Tess decided then that the gym could wait. Today was the day that she was going to find a jeweller. She gently tugged Ginny in for a hug and gave her a few butterfly kisses. "I love you, Gin. You are the strongest, sweetest, most beautiful person I've ever met."
"You gave me that strength." Ginny replied, holding her tightly. "And for that I will always be grateful to you. You're my entire heart, Tess."
Tess pulled back slightly to hold Ginny's gaze. "I love you with everything in me." It sounded like they were working on their vows already, didn't it? Tess smiled. "Alright, you'd better get while the gettin's good, otherwise I'll never let you go."
"Yeah... if I don't get the finishing touches put on the album, the girls are gonna kill me." Ginny laughed, giving Tess a playful swat on the ass. "Love you, baby. Good luck with The Morrisons!"
