Yep. The high from "Kong didn't wanna catch these hands again" is officially faded away.

Back to trying to figure out what to do with myself, and see if I can get that swagger back.

Ir's like Schroedinger's Swagger: if you can't locate the swagger, how do you know if it's gone or not?

I'm just not sure what I'm doing anymore.

I don't think I'm depressed, per se, but I do know that since the purge, even though I smile sometimes, joke around, etc... I don't think I've had one day of feeling truly happy or hopeful about anything, and it's frustrating as hell.

Shit happens, Scott. A lot of people lost someone in the purge, and you're not the only one still hurting.

Believe me, I know all that. A lot of people are still hurting, and a lot of them are a lot worse off than I am. They lost not just their spouse, but their kids, their families... that's why I'm staying active. No matter how bad I feel inside, I'm not gonna sit around and be useless.

You're welcome. I'm not sure what's made you lose your swagger, but I lost mine for a while, too. I know what that's like. You'll find a way to get it back at some point.

I've just never really been in this position before. I was married, then I was in jail (insert joke about those being the same here), then I was an Avenger, then I got here and I was fighting monsters and getting engaged to the best woman I've ever met... and now I'm just kind of here.

Ha, that joke kind of worked. At least it made me laugh. My husband isn't here. I'm still coming to terms with that. He traveled in time to be back with me, went through hell because of me.
