Who: Rocket, open to all
Where: Mar-Vell Memorial Park (In the middle of Knowhere. MIDDLE OF KNOWHERE! HAH!)
When: Tuesday morning
What: Rocket returns to his home universe... AND BRINGS A SHITLOAD OF ZOMBIES WITH HIM.
Rating: TBD - possibly warnings for language and violence.

Lest anyone think that it was merely people from other realities being dropped off here, let's clarify: this was happening in ALL realities. And sometimes? People from OUR reality were being thrown into other ones. One such being? Was none other than Rocket Raccoon. Disappearing mere days before the Guardians agreed to this assignment, he'd been gone for a little over a month now.

Or at least, it'd been about a month to everyone in this reality.

To Rocket? He'd been gone for almost four months now, bouncing from reality to reality, meeting people from various other universes and finding ways to cope and survive. The one good thing that had come of it? Was meeting the woman who'd somehow managed to bounce through universes with him, Six. In the universe SHE was from, she was an alien, just like him. They'd bonded over mutual feelings of isolation, and love of heavy weaponry, and had managed to forge a true, unbreakable bond of friendship.

The universe that the two had just been in was one that had seen a zombie apocalypse basically scorch the earth. People in this universe? Would know it as The Walking Dead universe. Was being in such a place scary and stressful? OF COURSE. But hey! At least it gave Rocket and Six some things to shoot at. And god knew they both needed the release by this point. Plus, that type of setting? Gave Rocket INSANE amounts of material to use as spare parts for weapons.

They'd met a small group of survivors, and had been in the middle of being attacked by what looked to be an absolute HORDE of the undead, when suddenly, Rocket and Six felt themselves surrounded by that intense white light again.... only this time it seemed to swallow up a large circle of space around them.

Rocket felt himself falling, before hitting the ground in the middle of what Cosmo had named Mar-Vell Memorial Park. Having never seen this huge addition to Knowhere, Rocket had no clue where the hell he was as he slowly rose, grabbing the ridiculously large blaster rifle he carried. No... right now, all he could do was stare, slack-jawed, at the hundreds of undead that had been brought through WITH them. Awwwwww, hell.

"SIX!" Rocket called out, unsure if the girl had even come through with him. "Wherever the flark we are now, this looks like a residential area! We gotta make sure these zombie flartnards don't get far enough away from here that they can start biting people!"

A talking raccoon carrying a gun. Beckett considered it a mark of her ability to adjust that the sight neither gave her pause or confusion - at least on the outside. From her position in what she'd quietly began calling The Hub (in a nod to the universe she'd fallen in to, naturally) she had watched the animal - though she supposed, like Cosmo, he was indeed a person - discharge several rounds while calling out for someone named Six.

What that meant, who that was, she didn't know, but a quick switch of cameras, a few typed commands by of the security officers on his keyboard, and she quickly understood what he was shooting at. "Are those....." Kate asked, eyebrows wrinkling together, mouth falling open slightly as one bloody, gnarled human corpse shuffled into the view of the camera, teeth bared and eyes empty, "...zombies," she breathed, allowing herself five seconds to absorb the new reality, and five more to tamp down on the thousands of questions and the rush of panic that came with it.

Zombies weren't real, but they were another thing in a growing list that could happen here. Talking animals, super powers, aliens, vampires, wizards - it kept growing and Kate kept rolling with the punches, issuing orders for security measures to lock down the mechanical areas of the ship, to bar access to the city that had been built at its center unless you had the required security clearance to enter.

And then she reached for her comm with one hand, and a gun with the other, shouldering the strap of the rifle across her chest and ignoring the twinge of panic at having such a large barrel pressed against her skin. Undoubtedly once this was over, her PTSD would come back with a vengeance if her body was already recoiling at even touching a long range weapon, but Kate shook it off, compartmentalized the feeling as she called up those individuals on the ship who had sworn to protect it, and then lifted the comm to her mouth for a ship-wide broadcast.

"This is Comrade Beckett, Head of Security for this ship. It would appear that we have been boarded by some individuals who are up to no good. For your safety, I am going to ask that all refugees remain inside their homes, with doors locked, and that all ship personnel either avoid the city or find a safe place to wait out this current problem. The city is blocked off to only a select number until this threat has been resolved in order to keep the threat contained. Enforcement personnel should keep their comms on and be ready to move to action if called upon. Thank you."

With that final word, Kate stepped from the bustling command center, shooting an order over her shoulder that the door be locked behind her, and directly onto the elevator that, within moments had her on street level facing Mar-Vell Memorial Park and the source of all the commotion - including the sounds of gun fire.

'Cosmo', Kate let the name of her boss swim to the front of her mind as she darted across the street, eyes peeled for zombie, raccoon or civilian, 'How the hell do you even kill a zombie?" It was an honest question, and she hoped the answer was lots and lots of bullets, but she didn't know. She'd never paid attention to Castle when he'd gone on and on about zombies and their coming apocalypse, hadn't managed to watch a single episode of 'The Walking Dead' with him.

There was something painfully ironic about it now, when she was running straight towards a hoard of them.

As strange as the last day or two had been Nikola had found no problem adjusting to shipboard life. The level of technology aboard was fascinating, the strange creatures reminded him of the other abnormals that he knew, and the bar had a decent enough selection of wine. In fact, it was the from the bar that Tesla was returning from, a half empty bottle in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. The scenic stroll was brought to abrupt end as he entered the Mar-Vell Memorial Park. All hope of enjoying a quiet morning slipped away as he found himself gazing at a horde of zombies and what appeared to be a talking raccoon. With a sigh Nikola pressed on, slipping through the masses with relative ease and inhuman speed, his hand keeping his glass balanced to avoid spilling a drop. He had managed to make it halfway across the park without any issue but when one of the undead managed to get a hand on his ankle Tesla stumbled a tad.

The sound of the glass and bottle shattering on the floor rang out, but it was the sound of his shouting that suddenly followed. "YOU MINDLESS SACKS OF MEAT! I WAS SAVING THAT WINE TIL THIS EVENING!!" Without warning Nikola's eyes went black and his features took on a far more feral appearance, even elongated black claws sprang forth as the man's anger reached it's pinnacle. He had been quite content to leave the undead alone, but the wine stain on the bottom of his slacks was the last straw. Ignoring the swarm of undead that was rapidly closing in, the vampire turned his focus to the one zombie that had caused the accident. Without hesitation Tesla grabbed the creature's skull and with a single swift motion the zombies head was cleanly ripped free from it's shoulder's. With a chuckle Nikola cast it aside and turned his gaze to the things drawing close. "Shall we play?"

A wake of destruction followed where the vampire danced, and while the reanimated corspes had sheer numbers they lacked the strength and speed that came with being...well being Nikola. Granted his suit would need to be pressed and dry cleaned, but for the moment he was having a genuinely enjoyable time. It wasn't every day that he could just let off some steam like this, yet the sudden sight of Kate shifted his mood altogether. Where a moment ago this had just been a game, now Tesla found himself concerned for her. Had she been a stranger he could have possibly considered ignoring her but Kate was one of the few that he had spent any sort of time with...and he enjoyed that time. So with a sigh the vampire sprang over the horde, landing atop the skull of a zombie that was drawing to close to his companion. Without missing a beat the vampire straightened his tie, as his boot crushed the creature beneath it, and Nikola managed to wink at her as he spoke. "I knew you could not resist coming to see me again, but your timing seems to need a touch of work."

"I'm sure you believe that's true, Nikola," Kate replied with a roll of her eyes, lifting her Sig Sauer from the clip at her belt she fired three shots to her right, all of them direct marks into the center of a zombie's forehead. And judging from the way the body dropped to the ground, it appeared Cosmo was right, aim for the brain, kill the zombie, "But I came to see these guys."

With an amused smile on his vampiric face Nikola gracefully moved to stand beside her, after wiping the bottom of his boot off on the back of the corpse. "Now now my dear, I am not a jealous man by nature but if I must compete with so many...handsome suitors, well perhaps I would be better off wiping out the competition." He was trying to keep things light hearted for her sake, and to reign in the desire he felt to kill, yet whenever one of the zombies drew too close those claw of his left them quite headless.

"By all means, please kill them," she said, holstering her handgun in favor of shouldering the rifle and setting her sights on two more undead who had just begun their trek through a grove of trees, "But it's still not going to get you anywhere," Kate added, finger ready on the trigger. But she didn't pull immediately, giving her body time to adjust, to focus so that the movement came naturally, and then she pulled, missing on her first try with the kickback from the gun but landing neatly into her target with the two bullets that followed.

"Hate to break it to you, but I'm happily engaged," Kate said, pushing back against the quiet voice that whispered in her ear that Castle was likely dead in a car crash. She wasn't going to believe that until there was enough evidence to convince her so and, really, she couldn't imagine she'd ever get such an answer in middle of a galaxy far, far away.

Her request was all it took to let go of his control, yet instead of flinging himself recklessly into the fray Nikola had another idea in mind. Unwilling to leave her side the vampire gazed down at the ground and after taking second to feel the currents his hand punched right through the metal paneling. A moment later Tesla tore a large live wire free and even as the electricity poured through his body the vampire just smiled.

With a touch of focus and concentration bolts of electricity shot out into the swarm at hand, as if lightning was leaping from the vampire to the zombies trying to approach. Arcs of brilliantcrackling energy washed over his prey, yet not even the faintest shock affected his companion. With a warm laugh he glanced over at her, shaking his head before turning his gaze back at the walking corpses. "You tease, first you ask me out for drinks, and now you spring this on me?" As erie as that toothy smile was, the tone in his voice was playful as ever, and the look of amusement upon his visage grew as more and more zombies began to fry.

"I didn't ask you out," Kate replied, nose wrinkling as the smell of burning flesh met her nose as Nikola's manipulation of the ship's electric current went to work, "You asked me to meet you, I said maybe. Neither constitutes a date or a romantic interest." Though, if she were fair, Beckett didn't make it a habit of wearing her engagement ring. In fact, she'd taken it off the day she'd arrived and only put it back on inside the privacy of her apartment. With the exception of Cosmo and some of the other officers, she didn't think anyone had probably seen it or even knew she'd arrived in her wedding dress.

She was happy to keep it that way.

Even in the face of overwhelming odds, and a very dangerous situation, Nikola couldn't resist lightly teasing her...if only to keep her fear at bay. As the numbers of undead in their direct area began to dwindle, corpses collapsing to the ground as their nervous systems and brains were fried, the vampire took a moment to look over at her once again. "Semantics my dear. It's not evey day I share conversation and wine, and you can't tell me that you don't feel the...electricity between us." It was a terrible pun coming from the man quite literally wielding lighting, but with a teasing wink Nikola started to chuckle again.

"I dare say there were even sparks!"

"I can because I don't," Kate replied, edging away from Nikola and his electric display to stand in the shadow of few trees that were just off the sidewalk. Enough cover to keep her from being immediately spotted (though the light show was surely going to attract more undead than not) and to give her time to search through the spaces between the trees with the rifle scope for any advancing bodies, "And you'd be smart to stop implying otherwise," she added a beat later, "Puns notwithstanding."

Though, really, she didn't have much enjoyment in those either. Too many nights spent listening to Castle think up more titles for his books, undoubtedly.

Smoke rolled off the vampire's clothing as the bits of zombie flesh and congealed blood sizzled thanks to the current. Yet Tesla was oblivious to it as his focus remained on the task at hand. It was only when she spoke again that his smile slipped away and was replaced with a serious expression. Engaged or not to be so readily dismissed when he had been offering light banter caught him off guard, and without warning the arcs of electricity suddenly vanished as he dropped the cable to the ground.

Oh it was true that he had enjoyed taking his rage out upon the undead as recompense for making him spill the bottle of wine, but Nikola had been fighting to keep her safe. However the more she spoke the more the vampire realized he had no real reason to do so. The creatures were an annoyance at best, but the posed no threat to him even in such grand numbers. As strange as it was Tesla had seem a glimmer of Helen in her, that strong take charge attitude that always made him smile. Yet Kate Beckett was no Helen Magnus, and the vampire was no hero.

Nikola Tesla cared for himself only...well with a very few exceptions, but whatever spark he had thought was there, was clearly imagined. So with a shrug the vampire turned to face her, ignoring the horde completely as his black eyes studied her. After a brief moment of consideration he nodded his head and spoke up again. "My apologies for any such implications. I shall take my leave since my presence appears to make you uncomfortable." There was no look of anger or anything for that matter as his face and eyes returned to their human visage. Even with the waves of zombies moving closer Nikola simply seemed...bored.

Were all vampires so dramatic? Kate didn't know, but making a mountain out a rather small hill wasn't something that particularly endeared people to her. Sure, there was likely a budding friendship forming but like a penchant for drama, she also didn't place much stock or respect in someone who continued to imply feelings of a romantic nature when she was both engaged and had expressly delivered her lack of interest.

"If you want to leave, go ahead," Kate replied, her eyes flicking from the scope to Nikola to take in the seemingly bored expression, "I never said I was uncomfortable, you are again assuming things according to what I imagine you believe humans to think of you. I simply asked you to stop implying a relationship that isn't there."

And then Kate shouldered her rifle, returning the shrug that the vampire had so recently given her in dismissal, and began to walk further into the park in search of more zombies.

"Comrade Beckett... are you alright? I am sensink higher than normal levels of stress and anger coming from you...

Cosmo whimpered again, worried for his new partner-slash-friend. He knew more about her, and what she'd been through, than pretty much anyone here (other than her fiancee, natch). And thus, he also knew too much stress could crack her like a walnut, and that was NOT something he wanted to see.

It was then that he made a decision. He knew she'd shut down entrance to the city, for fear of anything getting into the command center of the station... but he was going to have to reopen it briefly. Because damn it... he was sending in the cavalry.

"Bozhe Moi... there are beink so many of them... You do the hanging in tight, my friend. Cosmo is sending Star-Lord and Groot with more weapons..."

'I'm fine, Cosmo' Kate let the words swim through her mind, mouth twisting slightly at the correct assumption that she was both stressed and a little angry. Or, frustrated. Frustrated was a much better word for what she was feeling as she walked off down the sidewalk, pace quick and purposeful but falling short of running. Running attracted attention, and she didn't want to find herself surrounded with only a handgun, a rifle, and no reinforcements. 'Focused on killing zombies.'

Which...yeah...she was also moping a little, missing Castle, hating that he wouldn't ever see a zombie invasion and knowing he'd have been enjoying it like a kid at Christmas. More proof that life wasn't fair, and all the more reason to just focus on the job rather than the spectacular mess of her personal life.

'Excellent. It would appear most of our refugees have followed orders and stayed in their apartments' Mark one down for being surprised, Beckett had been sure most of them would immediately disregard her request and come down with weapons blazing. 'If they take the park entrance closest to The Hub, they won't have very far to travel. Though I suppose they could have spread by now. Actually, maybe that is a better plan, approach the center from different sides and eliminate the threat encroaching from the outside while we work to contain it here.' Though, really, Cosmo didn't need tactical suggestions from Kate, he was perfectly capable of handling it himself.

Her words deflated him completely and with a sigh Nikola considered just following her recommendation to take his leave, but as she began to move away he couldn't shake the nagging feeling. Only one other had ever spoken to him like that before, and instead of being pissed a small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. He was not a good guy, by any stretch, but she had piqued his interest and that was enough for the vampire at the moment.

Without missing a beat he was by her side again, claws and fangs at the ready. Yet instead of offering any sort of apology or even an explanation, Tesla turned his gaze to the undead and muttered something more to himself then to her. "Well...it was an exceptional vintage..." After taking a moment to look around his voice quietly spoke again as he glance at her, the faintest hint of concern in his tone. "How are you doing, ammo wise?

Ok, so Cosmo was kind of touched that Kate referred to herself as Comrade Beckett. For how they tended to be utter smart-asses to each other, there really was a close and, while unlikely, natural friendship there.

"In most realities, the undead are beink killed by destruction of their brain. Nothink else seems to work permanently. Be careful, Comrade Beckett... do not let them bite, scratch, or otherwise break your skin. Cosmo doesn't fancy tummy rubs from an undead friend..."

Giving a pathetic little whimper (he was still a dog, you know...), Cosmo paced back and forth before thinking to himself, "Please, comrade Beckett, do not be gettink yourself killed...

"If a zombie gets me, just let someone shoot me," Kate thought, giving a wrinkle of her nose at the sheer idea of it as she continued to follow the sounds of guns, "But I'll be careful, you just hold down the rest of the ship. And maybe figure out how to evacuate people if this goes to hell?"

She truly, truly hoped it didn't come to that. That they'd manage to end the threat before the zombies really got a hold on anyone or any section of the city, but Kate also knew that it was an unlikely fact. Like all strategic measures, things usually got worse before they got better.

As soon as she started fall, Six went into battle mode and turned invisible. She wasn't far from Rocket, but he couldn't see her, her gun busted in the fall, but with traveling him, Six knew he was always packing. As she took off running, she materialized, snatching a gun off his belt as she called out, "I don't know where we are, like every other place we've ended up at!"

The pair met in a quaint little town, both side had friends there and then suddenly they were set in a whirlwind adventure. Even though she was a Garde, had trust issues to boot with almost everyone, Rocket wasn't everyone. He was her friend, one of eleven she has in her whole life. "Another planet?" she asked as she started shooting, because this was something she liked doing.

Fighting is the one thing Six truly enjoyed, Morgs unleashed a blood-lust in her when they tortured her all those years ago and when she killed every one of them, Six vowed she would wipe their race out, before they got hers.

Two pops to the head she flank back to the small group to stand with Beth who was using the gun she had. Counting bullets, her thought was cut short with a voice, Six handed her gun over to Beth, her hand shot out shoving some of the zombies back with a harsh force to give them room, "Who the hell is that?" Six asked Rocket.

Rocket spared just a moment to glance at Beckett, who seemed to be handling herself quite well. He squeezed the trigger on the huge Gunn he held, grinning as a storm of bullets you're through a few of the zombies approaching them.

"No idea, babe... But at least she's trying to help. Can't wait to see what ridiculous krutacking worlds we got tossed into this time..."

He smirked when she grabbed a gun from his belt, before the furry little warrior gave her a teasing wink. "If yer gonna get that familiar, at least buy me dinner first..."

"I hope you accepts IOU, Beth has it now and I have a feeling you'll have," she paused trying to gather the zombies together with her telekinesis. The more she tried to use her abilities, the stronger Six got and from her adventure with her friend, Six was impressive "better luck getting dinner with me," her hand faltered, "got another weapon on you?"

Her hand moved up, shifting closer to him, she knew he has more weapons than anyone, but then she did have her blade only thing is the herd was too many for her to get that close.

"Attached to the back of my belt is a small handgun. Ain't much, but it's better than knives, babe..." Rocket told her as he lifted his rifle again and expertly picked off two more approaching walkers, giving an intense little sneer. "BLAM. Murdered you."

Hilariously, as stressful and tense as this situation was, it was almost a stress-reliever for both of them. Both were warriors at heart, and something like this was a great way for both to blow off some steam.

Six was at his belt, only before she grabbed it she started laughing to Rockets favorite saying. Shaking her head, she pulled the gun out, pulled the clip to check it and paused Six had any idea. She moved next to Rocket, she pulled a bullet out of the clip, then put the clip back in the gun, put the gun tucked in her pants.

Bullet was resting her hand and suddenly she flipped it up in the air, her hand stilled it, than in sped it around in a quick circular motion only to release it, it went through three zombie heads, than fell. Something to work on. Her power was weakening cause she was exhausted. However before the bullet hit the ground, the handgun was out and Six was next to her friend shooting.

"D'ast it, woman.... RUN!" Rocket yelled, seeing she was now more or less useless, the combination of exhaustion and depletion of her powers making her ready to collapse. "Flarkin' hell..." He grumbled as he emptied his final rounds of ammo into a few more of the walkers.

They'd managed to take out nearly all the dead that had surrounded them, but a few remained, and now it was just them, a basically unarmed Rocket, and a nearly unconcious Six.

Any other time, this wouldn't have ended well for our heroes.... but this time? Salvation was heralded by three words.

The voice was loud, angry, and frantic as the big tree-being from Planet X tore into the remaining walkers with fury and desperation. He knew that voice and that scent anywhere. It was Rocket! His best friend was back!

Yeah... no fucking WAY were these living corpses getting to his buddy.

The dead fell to the ground in pieces, before Groot knelt down and blinked his eyes at his tony friend, who now stood hovering over Six protectively.

Rocket felt his eyes widen, as he focused on just who'd saved them. At first, he though maybe Groot had just been dumped into some reality with them. But as he took a look around... he realized that while the city wasn't familiar, there were quite a few faces and weapons he recognized.

"Groot? Am... am I home, buddy?"

Groot merely nodded, as he felt Rocket quickly run over to give him a grateful hug. "Awww... I missed ya, buddy-old-pal-old-tree..." Of course, when Groot moved to make room for Rocket to scurry up onto his shoulders.... the furry little warrior declined, instead moving back to check on Six, worry flashing across his face.

"GUYS! Check it out!" Peter Quill called out to his allies, happily and with obvious relief. "Rocket's back! Furry little bastard found his way back to us!" He said, an impressed and affectionate tone to his voice, before he noticed Rocket tending to... a beautiful blonde? Seriously?

"And hey! He brought me a present!"

Six was blinking to the chaos around her, big tree, Rocket voice seeming higher than normal, he sounded relieved. Suddenly a wave of relief flooded her, they were saved, and when the guy yelled Rocket was back, she looked at him, he was home. She tried to smile, but her facial muscles wouldn't work for the moment. Six hated how worried he looked, but she knew it was because of her, she was so tired.

However when the guy yelled about her being a present, Six shook her head no, then fainted.

Quill grew serious then, kneeling down to check Six's pulse. She seemed alright... just suffering exhaustion. "Alright... guys? CAREFULLY take this chick to the hospital, get her checked out, then get her set up in one of the hotels. She's obviously a friend of Rocket's, so take ca-"

Rocket cut him off then, going so far as to get between Six and Peter, snarling like a rabid animal. "No flarkin' way, Quill... me and Six, we look out for each other. I made her a promise a few months ago, that if we ever got back to MY world, she was gonna be a Guardian. I dunno what you guys did to Knowhere, but I can tell that's where we are."

Peter just blinked, mumbling to himself: "Months? Rock, you've only been gone like... three or four weeks..."

Rocket ignored him and continued. "She's going to OUR infirmary, upstairs. And then she's staying with US. I love you guys... but that's how it's gonna be. Either Six is one of us, or I'm NOT."

Groot gave Quill a look that was somewhere between shock and slight panic, and the man known as Star-Lord could only sigh as he stood. "Rock... you're one of us, ok? You're home. That's all that matters. We'll get you and your friend upstairs, and you can both get some rest."

Remain inside their homes? Yeah fucking right. That just meant it was play time. The Boss didn't care if she was one of those select numbers or not. The fact of the matter was that she was one of the few on the ship with full body armor and an alien pulse rifle. She'd brought her pistols too, just in case, and the oddly floppy tentacle bat was strapped to her back for more fun later. Following the noise to the park was no problem at all.

The problem was, the Boss realized as she stood half on the seat of a bench and stepped up to be part on the back, that she'd forgotten just how much fucking noise that this rifle made. Now she was familiar with zombies. STAG had done some testing and made some of the Steelport locals undead. Firing a laser bullet at the skulls of a horde of undead was nothing new. But as mentioned, the rifle made a hell of a noise and it was drawing more attention than she wanted.

She'd knocked off about ten of them on the outskirts before a small group broke off and headed for the noise. "Aw fuck..." she muttered as she realized who their target was. Jumping off of the bench, she ran to make space between her and her small group of undead. The problem was that the helmet limited her vision more than she liked and she ended up tripping over a decorative rock and going sprawling. She had just enough time to yank the helmet off and throw it, before a zombie was grabbing at her feet.

Rolling onto her back, she grabbed her pistols and carefully started to fire off rounds. One, two, three... Enough space to get up. Pistols away, she grabbed the bat off her back and swung at the closest zombie. One good thing about alien tech was that it sent the undead creature flying head first into a tree. Even she seemed a little surprised, "I have got to use this thing more." Creepy as it was.

Jack Carter had been living and working in a little town called Eureka for a little over six years and while his evenings were generally quiet (and spent with his wife, Allison, and their children), his days were usually hectic as all get out. He was the sheriff in a town populated almost entirely by scientific geniuses (most of whom worked for an advanced research facility called Global Dynamics, which was responsible for the development of nearly all major technological breakthroughs since its inception). He also had the lowest IQ in the town (which did bother him from time to time, he'd begrudgingly admit).

Still, for a guy with the lowest IQ he was still able to determine (more often than not) how mysterious accidents came about, or how and why anyone would intentionally misuse technology. He's had experience with time and space anomalies as a result, which is why, when another intense white light appeared in Mar-Vell Memorial Park and a man literally face-planted and skidded across the ground, the first thing that came out of his mouth was: "Not again…"

With a grunt he rolled to his back to get a better sense of where he was, already grumbling about killing Fargo for using him as a test dummy, and his jaw literally dropped, not only at seeing the horde of zombies, but at the woman that he'd landed near, and the weapon she was using. He had to be dreaming. Had to be.

Still, when the zombies started to encroach on him he reacted immediately and hopped to his feet, pulling out his gun and squeezing off a few rounds. He really needed to stop watching Romero movies before bed. Emptying the clip, he reloaded and fired off a few more shots, moving around so as not to get trapped in any way. What he really needed was higher ground. Or to wake up. Waking up would be nice. When the clip emptied again, he reached for another one only to realize… "Oh, come on! This is the worst dream ever!"

He literally threw his empty gun at a zombie's head (which was both ineffective and a horribly stupid idea), then called out to Boss "I could use a little help here!" while pulling his baton out of a loop around his belt and using that to bludgeon the zombies with.

She had managed to clear away the small group that had been getting too close for comfort when someone was calling out... Apparently to her. She glanced back at the man and had a brief moment where she wanted to fall into laughter. A cop was asking her for help. That never happened. Never in Stilwater. Never in Steelport. She was public enemy number one - at least until she'd become president. Well, okay. Maybe she was number two. Johnny was definitely number one. He'd killed more people than she could ever dream of. Something to aspire to really.

But in a case such as this, she couldn't exactly let an unknown officer of the law perish to a horde of zombies - damn her sense of responsibility. Putting the bat back, she grabbed her helmet and the alien rifle. Running towards the man, she fired the rifle at the zombies that got within biting distance. "You need to get the fuck out of here if you don't have bullets. I can clear a path if you want to head to the residential areas."

"You point the direction and I’ll go there!" Jack replied with a frantic tone to his voice. He had no idea where he was, let alone where a safe place to go would be. Still, she was being a good enough person to at least try to help him, and he wasn't going to ignore that. Especially since that this was a situation that he had no experience with. Eureka was great, but he hardly had to draw his gun, let alone use it.

"This way then! We'll go to the residential area," at least then they could barricade themselves in a building. In fact, as soon as she saw an empty place, they were ducking in and trying to find him a better weapon. Maybe a sports store or something. This was kind of like a small American town (she hated small towns with a passion) so it had to have something.

The hardest part was clearing the path. She had to focus on what was in front of her while still turning on occasion to make sure nothing was getting too close to the cop. They did not need to get him bit when he just got here. And they were so, so close to getting away...

Jack used his baton where he could, trying to make himself of some use while Boss led the way. He wasn't a "man in distress" here. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time with no freaking bullets left. Just his luck. "I'm not against taking orders here, Boss!" He said as he followed behind her, step-for-step. No, he had no idea who she was. But where he'd come from it was better to give a woman proper respect, and something told him that this woman wouldn't respond kindly to "lady" (although that was a bit presumptuous of him anyway!).

"Your order is to follow and not get eaten! Simple enough?" She took a moment's pause to throw one of her pistols back to him, knowing it wasn't really fully loaded but it was something. He had certainly presumed right in the form of address and it won him points but they'd take tally a little later. There was no way they were going to get to the residential area at this rate though.

There were some shops off to the side though... And they were closer to one of them. "In here," she shouted before leading the way to what appeared to be a clothing shop. It wasn't the best choice but they could barricade the door and try to get out the back, break off from the horde.

"I got you!" Jack fumbled with the gun comically for a few seconds but eventually got enough of a grip on it to turn it on the zombies and fire a few rounds wildly. He was too panicked to hit their heads, but it was enough to slow them down. When Boss shouted where to go he followed obediently, quick to slam the door shut behind him and help Boss barricade the door. "What the hell is going on here?" He shrieked. "Zombies! Were those zombies?" Forgive him for being a little freaked out here. Zombies weren't exactly his favorite thing in the world (not that they existed where he came from, but still!).

Shiklah wasn't sure what was going on but with the bright lights brought her attention towards an area she had not explored yet. She walked over to see corpses walking on their own and attacking. It seemed that other had joined in the fight and she sighed, life was never dull in this day and age. She shifted half way into her demon form as she joined in with the fight, two small scythes began to form from the purple magic radiating from her hands.

"I shall send you back to your deaths...again." Shiklah aimed down on the head of one and kicked another that was flanking in on her right. It had been awhile since she seen corpses walking the Earth but why were they here? Did they cross over the same way she did.

"Isn't my baby adorbs when she gets all murdery?" Wade asked a random zombie before swiftly jabbing one his swords through it's forehead. "Gotta say, babe... agreeing to come on this mission was the best idea EVER." He continued, slicing and dicing through the dead with a happy little grin, "I mean, not only does it get us away from your ex's minions, but it gives us a fun vacay getting to kill things!"

Sigh. Only Deadpool would look at a sudden zombie invasion as FUN.

"Yes my love. However, I believe this was your idea. Not that I disprove of your idea of a vacation." Shiklah brought one zombie down but another one just took its place. A flying dragon-iguana hybrid appeared behind Shiklah and clawed at one zombie before becoming out of reach from another. "There is no end to this horde." Purple smoke began to swirl as Shiklah used magic to push them away to give herself some breathing room. Her two scythes became a long one as she charged into the horde again and continue to decapitate them. "Deadpool..." Shiklah turned just as the Horde surrounded her again but they never got a bite off as Shiklah formed into her true form. "OFF!" She tore one's head off and went for another. "These creatures taste horrible. Like rotten flesh."

The bad thing about Deadpool's, he's like Bébé's kids, they don't die, they multiply! Suddenly with a battle cry of "ZOMBIE!" a leggy woman dressed like Deadpool, blonde hair in a ponytail came out of no where stealing Deadpool next kill, running it through with her blade. She turned to him nodded her head, "Heya!" But then turned as the purple smoke started to surround them, her eyes widen when she say Shiklah's true form. "Huh..." Wanda leaned on her blade, her head turned to her double, her foot swung backwards and kicked his ass, playful tap of course, "Where the hell were you the day they were giving out that power?"

"Hey there, Blondie..." Wade chuckled, shaking his head. Of COURSE Wanda would end up dumped here. Somehow she always found a way to find him, and in a situation like this? With other realities crapping people into this one like they'd just eaten bad Mexican? Yeah, like she wasn't gonna end up here eventually.

He watched Shiklah attacking, something that would be more terrifying than the zombies to most people... and actually giggled, crossing his arms over his chest arrogantly. "And are you kidding? Who NEEDS that power when you got a smokin' hot wife who can entertain you with tons of violence? It's better than cable!"

He watched with a wince as Shiklah tore through zombies like they were made of paper, before giving a loud, playful whistle. "GET 'EM, BABYDOLL!"

Shiklah had easily made a dent in the horde of zombie and found herself standing on top of the pile of zombie corpses's (dead for the second and final time). "I am sadden that there is no life force inside these creatures." She looked around before the purple swirl of smoke formed around her to reveal her human skin. "There are more of them over there, but there are others in the fight."

The demoness made her way down to both Deadpool with her flying green reptile right behind her. Bug looked around before landing on her shoulders but kept on alert. "Hello." She said to the female woman that looked like her husband.
