Tonks & Remus
Who: Tonks & Remus
What: Remus is cooking Tonks dinner so they can talk.
Where: Quill Street #10 Remus & Sirius's place
When: Dinner time Sunday night
Rating: I imagine PG
The street felt more crowded then it had the first time she'd wandered out to find Charlie and get what ended up being a small rundown of the next four years of her life. It was difficult for her to understand how so much could change. Charlie had a point, war was crazy, but it still just felt insane to her. In many ways she wondered if she'd know who the future self was if they met. The wife and mother of a boy from what she could tell was a remarkable person. She didn't know much but he seemed really kind, he didn't blurt out that he was her son. He was respectful and let her find out from someone she knew and trusted.
After scribbling the words in the journal while she sat at the table she sighed looking around watching as the sun started have the notes of sunset. In many ways she wished she could just enjoy the view of it and enjoy knowing that the sun was setting somewhere else in the world. That lead to her wondering what hemisphere they were in and if they had winter or not. As she saw a response form on her page she pushed away the thoughts of where they were located and took in as much air as possible as she read his words over a couple of times. As she let the air out she picked up her quill writing quickly back a yes. It was important to go actually speak with him, see where they stood what he could tell her about their son and just in general what he knew. If this was the man she was going to fall in love with, she was really curious about him and wanted to know him.
After some more commenting back and forth with George and perhaps others she shut the journal and pushed her hair back as it changed to a beach blonde. Grabbing the bottle of wine she'd gotten the day before and was left unopened she headed towards number 10. It was strange to consider that she was about to share dinner with Remus Lupin. Three days ago that wouldn't have been something she would have thought about as much. She was careful walking making it with surprising ease. She lifted her hand to knock on the door but let it fall a moment later as she shut her eyes and muttering to herself. "Easy. This is easy." With that she knocked once again and took a half step back to wait for someone to answer to door.
