Molly laughed with unbridled joy as Arthur pulled her in the direction of the s'mores station. Her stomach tumbled somersaults when he called her love, and she kissed his cheek before turning to take up a stick and mallow for roasting. "Most are trying to get their marshmallows the perfect golden colour, but that's not the right heat to melt the chocolate," she explained as she piled chocolate squares onto one side of her graham. "It's better to catch your mallow on fire, to burn the outside and get it nice and hot. This does give it a smokey flavour, but the sweetness of the center and the chocolate balance it out." She demonstrated, catching her marshmallow on fire and letting it burn for a moment before moving the still smouldering puff of sugar over her chocolate and securing it with her other graham. She handed the completed treat to Arthur, and grinned.
