"Easy, you barely held it together," she said matter-of-factly in response to his question. "When you weren't counting on your sister for food where did you get it then, hmmm? Restaurant take out? Or were you a dine in type of guy," she guessed with a wink, knowing full well how men tended to operate. Specifically single men. Back home... years ago at this point, she wasn't a total stranger to the term bachelor pad.
As she started to eat she tilted her head a bit, considering his question. She knew it would be a lot, but maybe keeping busy would be a good thing. Less time to worry about things past, and more about looking towards the future. "I'm sure with the amount of family we've each got in this place, we probably wouldn't have to lift a single finger ourselves," she joked, chuckling a bit before taking another bite of her food. Once she swallowed she continued on.
"It doesn't have to be anything fancy. But I do want to invite whoever wants to come. It might get a little big considering how many people we know or are related to, but the more the merrier and all that." Though she understood the draw of small, private weddings, she didn't want to deprive any of the people she cared about and loved from being there for a special moment. Especially when nothing was certain in this place.
