When he reached down to touch her belly, Amelia couldn't help but smile as a blush crept across her face. It was still a little strange, having individuals want to see and touch it, but when it was Gideon? It was almost comforting. Like they were finally falling in line with the entire thing, even though the idea of actually having the little bean growing inside her be out the outside still kind of terrified her. But terrified in almost a good way too. The more she grew, the more nervous and somewhat excited she was for the entire event.
When she got up she did notice Gideon run and grab his towel, but she really and truly didn't care at the moment. For one, even though it took a moment he was still picking up after himself and two, what was the point of getting annoyed for something like that when there was paradise waiting for them outside? Mel wasn't trivial enough to ruin a good thing by something so small.
At his answer to her inquiry, she let out a laugh and shook her head. "Yeah, yeah, guess I should have figured, huh?" she said with a small wink, walking over to a mirror on their wall to quickly straighten out her hair and run a brush through it. She had showered the evening before and didn't see much point in doing it again, especially if she was going to go outside in the sand. That tended to get everywhere, after all. Chuckling more about his idea of burying her, she cocked her head to the side and gave him a cute pout. "Why can't I bury you? It would keep us busy longer. More surface area and all that," she joked, gently hitting him with her elbow before going over to the closet to change into something more beach appropriate. Grabbing a two piece suit and a sundress to throw over the top, she stripped out of her nightclothes and put on the new ensemble. She hadn't bothered to leave the bedroom, figured Gideon would enjoy the show anyway.
"Can we get something to eat first? I'm starving. We could even grab something and sit on the beach. Breakfast with sand between our toes, what could be better?" she asked when she was finished, waggling her eyebrows at him before walking over to wrap her arms around his waist. "Bet I could out eat you," she added, a mischievous twinkle awakening in her eyes.
