Amelia hadn't been sleeping well since the kidnapping to be honest, though she had gotten good at faking it. The last several weeks she had laid awake in bed, thoughts crowding her mind while Gideon slept beside her. At least when he was there the insomnia was tolerable. It was the nights he was gone though that she paced through the house, fighting off anxiety that reared its head at inappropriate times.
Perhaps it was the change in scenery and weather though that calmed her, and the night before she has been lulled into a peaceful sleep by the soft waves outside their bungalo and the sweet ocean air. Her body needed it apparently and she barely moved from her spot the entire evening, sleeping late into the next morning. She didn't notice how long she had been out though until she felt Gideon gently touch her skin and say her name. She smiled a bit before opening her eyes, and even managed a chuckle as Kosmo entered and backed up Gid's words of needing to get out of bed.
After a moment she opened her eyes and looked up at him, giving a soft smile. Yawning just the slightest she pushed herself up on her arms and pressed her lips against his gently. "Mmm you smell nice," she commented, running a hand down his face and finally pulling herself all the way up and stretching her arms upward. The movement made her small T-shirt ride up, revealing the tiny bump that seemed to grow the slightest bit everyday before letting her feet slip over the edge and hit the floor.
"So... what's the plan besides waking me up then?" she teased, looking through the window and the ocean outside. "Or had you not gotten that far yet?"
