Who: Rodolphous Lestrange and Merope Gaunt
Where: The Forest
When: Mid-Morning
Why: Merope goes for a walk to clear her thoughts when she meets Rod
Warning: None
Merope looked both ways before leaving the castle grounds. It wasn’t like she was trying to run away but the fewer people that knew where she was going the better. She did leave a little note to Ava stating that she would be back in a couple of hours. The girl just needed to clear her head with some fresh air from the thoughts that were plaguing her. In the last couple of weeks there had been a lot of things happening to the village, namely the Death Eaters and one powerful wizard named Lord Voldemort. She had learned that Voldemort was related to her line. However since it seemed that she had no recollection of the man in her own time and people from the late years seem to have know him very well. It was only one possibility, Voldemort was either her son or her bother son – or grandchild. Merope unable to come to the possibility that her bother would ever be able to have a child so it left it down to one. Her.
As Meri walked down the path towards the forest, her mind started to go back to the days before she left her. She was going to make a love potion for Tom Riddle – she hadn’t thought far enough to where she would actually become pregnant. But it left her with questions, what happened to her? What happened to her that would create a man with such hate in the world? Not even her own father and brother were capable of doing something like this. Sure there was talk but nothing more than that. That is the only thing they ever did was talk about mudbloods getting what they deserve.
Finally Merope found herself in the forest, the path was recently used but other than that it was quite. Looking up she heard a faint sound when she came across a snake in the branches nearby. It looked at her for a moment, Do not be afraid I will not harm you. She spoke but instead of words it came out to be hissing. The snake flickered its tongue and slithered unto her hand until it rested around her shoulder. Merope was never afraid of snakes and always was friendly towards them. It was her brother that was a little more harsh towards them. You have beautiful eyes. She hissed again before stroking under the snakes head.
