Who: Megan Jones and Fabian Prewett. What: Megan is curious Where: The Gym When: Monday evening.
Megan couldn’t explain how she felt about everything, there just weren’t enough words. Her days were spent wondering about the village, trying to figure out where everything was, and trying to process all of the information about who was whose kid, which people should be spoken to, who should be avoided. Then of course, trying to figure out her father, they mysterious man she’d only ever heard very vague stories about. Her nights were plagued by nightmares, each time her eyes closed she was chained to the front of a classroom with nameless faces eating at her flesh. She was overwhelmed as she stumbled through her first day of school, depending a lot on her friend Justin to get her through the day.
Megan’s plan had been to simply wander through the village. She had no place in mind to go, but she needed to get out the castle, she needed to become familiar with her surroundings. No one could get a jump on her if she knew where they were, right? She wasn’t sure exactly how long she’d been wandering in and out of shops before she stood in front of the gym doors. She should have just kept walking. She should have just gone home. But Megan was curious.
She knew vaguely what her dad looked like--- tall, muscular, blond, beard. She had never seen him in person, she barely knew what she’d even say to him (assuming he was even there, his invitation was several days expired). A deep breath, she opened the door slowly, stepping lightly as if it were the Carrows waiting for her, and not a father she’d never met before. She spied him twirling with the punching back, and no knowing what to do she stood and watched from a corner for a few moments.
