Dennis was all smiles and excitement when he came back from his camping/magic wood collecting trip. He'd had a ball! Mr. Ollivander had treated him like an adult and Dennis was just thrilled with everything. Besides, he was such more comfortable outside and in a familiar wetting then he was inside of the houses that were provided here. Despite the argument that they had gotten into, Dennis couldn't wait to get home and tell Colin about his trip! It was his first time away from both his parents and his brother and he hadn't been in any trouble or anything! And he learned how to tell magical wood apart from regular wood and how to "cure" the wood so it wasn't green inside anymore.
However, what Dennis wasn't expecting when he came back home was to see Colin looking so lost, watching the tv. Even if this Colin wasn't his Colin, he was still a version of Colin and that was enough to.make Dennis want him to be happy. "Colin?"
Dennis frowned as he walked into the room and curled up months couch next to this older version of Colin. "Why are you sad? Is it because we were angry the other day?" he bit his lip and paused for a minute. "Cause I don't want you to be sad."
