After speaking with Remus, Helena honestly felt a little better. She'd known she wasn't the only one to lose someone else in the village, and she wouldn't be the last to lose one. She knew well she was being silly with her recent actions. Still, Helena wasn't sure how to handle the losses in any other way besides sliding farther down this hole she had dug for herself. Speaking with Remus had helped. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt her friends and family, though she knew that was exactly what was happening. Helena didn't know how to help herself and she was far too full of pride to ask for help on her own.
Still, even sitting in Remus' house talking with him had become too stifling. Helena needed to clear her mind, take a walk around town. She'd feel better after that was done. She'd left her journal back in the spare bedroom she had taken residence in just last night, which left her blissfully unaware of what was going on in the village. She probably wouldn't have left the cottage if she'd known.
After a long walk, wandering through the village and the woods, Helena finally started making her way back to Remus'. She wasn't quite ready to head back to the castle yet. She needed just a little more time to find the right words to apologize for the things she'd said to her daddy. She needed to eat something first, to prove to herself that she could, and to show her Daddy that she would try and do better and not disappoint him.
Before making it back to the cottage though, Helena almost ran into a familiar head of platinum. She hadn't been paying much attention to her surroundings. She stopped just a few feet short before looking up. It wasn't Draco Malfoy as she had first though.
A hand quickly went to cover her mouth, to cover the small sound of fear she'd squeaked out. Taking a few steps backwards, she shook her head. He was never supposed to come here. But he was obviously young. Younger then she had last seen him, though not so much younger as too make too much of a difference. She could see it though.
And Helena was terrified, which clearly showed on her face as she stumbled back from the Baron, tripping over her own feet and falling backwards.
