Instinctively, Percy breathed a derogative breath of air through this nose out of disbelief. But he remained still to hear her description of Skeeter's reign. It wasn't easy for Percy to accept that Fred and George could be anything except pranksters. But then again, they were creative and intelligent enough to create their joke shop products, so Percy decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. That wouldn't stop him from being irate with George, though.
"You teach swimming?" Percy looked at her quizzically. "Is that all? You have much more potential than that." If he were in charge of doling out occupations, he would be much more methodological.
"Malfoy?" Percy's reaction was stunned. "A Weasley marrying a Malfoy" He shook his head. Even during his time, such a thing seemed implausible. "Times change...." he commented. "Death Eaters must be rolling in their graves." He paused and then asked, "There aren't any Death Eaters here, are there?"
When Ginny described her relationship with Harry, Percy idly turned the wedding ring he wore upon his finger and thought about Audrey. What would happen if she arrived? How awkward would that be? Was he still socially obligated to her? His divorce from her wouldn't happen until his future, but that didn't mean it hadn't been considered before. "This whole place is complected."
He was wrapped up in his thoughts, but not so much that he didn't notice her blush. He kept his observation to himself, not wanting to embarrass her further, but he reckoned if Harry and Ginny were married in their future, it stood to reason that the attraction for one another would naturally still be there. "Would you marry him again, if he asked? Or is am I prying too deeply?"
