His compliment certainly didn't serve to lessen the color staining her cheeks. If anything, it only made it worse. However, the accompanying smile it brought to her face made it worth it. "Yeah?" she murmured, fingers and nails brushing through and against his hair and scalp as she did. "Well, you're always handsome." she returned easily, smile morphing into a contented smirk.
She was only too glad that he focused on her Aunt instead of her parents, shrugging off the discomfort thinking of them brought and honing in on his words. "I'll tell her that then." Megan agreed, "I'd like for you to meet her." She would add Ernie in as well, but he had seemed hesitant about Salazar when she mentioned him so she held her tongue. She would speak with Ernie first and hope he agreed before mentioning it to Salazar.
Smiling at his reaction to her hand in his hair, she kept at it in the hopes of bringing it about again. Megan was certain Salvatrix would be a very intimidating person. She sounded like she was a strong woman and while Megan could certainly respect that, it also made it a little scary if you were interested in her only older brother. She only hoped if she did arrive that Megan would hit it off with her and prove that she only wanted to be there for Salazar, not take him from anything. "My brother would be very much the same, even though he's younger." Megan paused then, an affectionate expression coloring her features as she thought of Peter. "When I was younger, before the war got bad, I would have these awful nightmares and Peter would always make them better. He's only a year younger so we were very close. I think we're equally protective of each other."
