As soon as Draco was seated, Alphard joined him at the table. Back home, none of his nieces were old enough to come to him with any true problems. The most that had ever happened were issues with sharing and broken toys. Up until he had come here, that had been mostly what he dealt with. This village offered up a whole new array of problems though and while Alphard didn't mind in the slightest, he was still learning how to properly deal with them. He decided in this instance, it was best not to push. Draco had come here with the intention of telling him something, and Alphard figured that he would speak when he was comfortable doing so.
Pouring himself a cup of tea, he mixed in a bit of sugar before meeting Draco's gaze once more. "How have your children been?" he asked instead of pressing him to tell him at once.
