Who: Molly Weasley and Bill Weasley
When: Monday the 25th
What: De-colouring the vegetable patch.
Where: The Burrow.
Rating: Safe.
Molly was dressed in clothes that weren't exactly her Sunday best, on her knees and washing the blue carrots, putting them to the side. She'd already set up a specialised Shield Charm that would protect the vegetables from more of the snow, but that people could walk through. She had her hair up in a side ponytail, and she was a little bit dirty as well, with technicolour splotches on her cheeks and on several different parts of her dress.
She'd be lying if she said she wasn't tempted to go into one of the soft, rainbow mounds of snow and make technicolour snow angels. Maybe later with Arthur, but the children didn't need to know that. She smiled a little at that, putting the washed carrots to the side and then going onto the potatoes, which were--
"Bright green?! Honestly, boys," she said loudly, using the back of her hand to push a few stray strands of hair out of her way, which unknowingly smeared her forehead a bright pink. She was making quite a mess, but if she could see herself in the mirror, she would laugh. She'd calmed down a bit after she found out that the snow wasn't harmful to the vegetables, but she liked a bit of order in these sorts of things. She often struggled to create order in the house whilst raising her children, so it was good to know her vegetable patch behaved, well. But turning different colours? Well, she certainly couldn't have that.
She was looking forward to seeing Bill again though. She'd met him once, and been shocked by the scars on his very handsome face, but she'd gotten used to it enough to not be shocked by it anymore. She still hadn't brought up the nerve to ask him how he got them, though. Perhaps she would today.
