Draco nodded toward the glass and snickered, but considering how many times he thought Severus lost sight of him, it was nice that Severus remembered such a small thing. "All right," Draco returned. He crawled into bed and didn't bother using his book for the ruse. He was bloody tired. "Night, Sev." He turned his back to Severus, burrowing under the warm covers. With his back turned where he couldn't see Severus' face and feeling loopy from the potions, he added, "I don't think you could ever really hurt me on purpose." It just felt that way sometimes. "I think you care about me more than you want. It is okay. I care about some people more than I want too." His words grew slower as his eyelids drooped.
