Millicent was rather stealthy if she said so herself. She always managed to get out of Hogwarts unseen. That was due to the fact that she had the Slytherin prefects wrapped around her little finger and she knew where everyone would be patrolling and at what times.

She covered her face, walking quickly toward the village of Hogsmeade, her eyes searching the dark for any sign of Evan.

Warnings: Millicent is in a mood. There will be blood because she's cut herself again. This is an opportunity for someone to find out. I just love putting her through hell. :D

Millicent sat on battlements, her feet hanging over the side. She wouldn't jump. No, that was the coward's way out. She would keep hurting herself until the pain went away for good.

She pulled up her skirt, looking at the newest cut. It wasn't very deep, but it still stung. She pulled the knife from her boot and held it against her skin. A deep cut would do the trick. It always did. It made her fully feel the pain inside her when it came to the surface.

She made a slight cut, watching as the blood as it covered the edge of the blade.

When: February 28, 1995 - late night (the day after Millicent sent this)

Millicent sat perched on the wall of the astronomy tower. She'd taken her usual seat and had lit another fag while she waited for Miles to join her. She was almost finished with it and was seriously thinking about leaving. It wouldn't even matter if she met him or not.

She stood up, putting the cigarette out with the toe of her boot. Walking away was the best thing she could do for herself.

Millicent made her way down to the common room, wiping off the lipstick Pansy had insisted she try. Red was not her color. Neither was pink or any other color Pansy had in her makeup case. She curled her lip, trying to get herself back to normal. Or at least normal for her.

She smirked, trying to sneak up behind Damian so she could cast the spell she'd threatened him with earlier.

Millicent had tried to sleep, really she had, but not even the most boring of books could make her eyes start to close. Her mind was too full of things she didn't want to think about. Even a trip to the astronomy tower wouldn't ease her tonight. She curled up beside the fireplace, enjoying the last embers of the fire. She stared into the fire, not really thinking about anything, not seeing anything really.

Millicent didn't know if she really wanted to join Professor Snape or not, but she decided in her gloomy state that she would probably enjoy the fresh air. And why not, he was her favorite teacher after all. And she excelled at potion making. It being her favorite subject besides astronomy.

She slipped on her jacket and moved through the common room with Hades at her feet.

"Hades, you're going to knock me over, you silly cat," she sneered, not really at the cat, but at those who were watching her try to maintain her balance. The cat paused and meowed up at her, looking quite cute. "Well, if you're going with me, stop pouting."

The cat followed her obediently to the door and waited for her to open it, going out before her.

Millicent was just finishing up the letters she and Draco were going to send to Longbottom and Granger. The only thing she had to finish was figuring out how to get them to squirt some sort of toxic mess on their readers. That would be the fun part. Just as they'd finished reading the letters, the mess would squirt them right in the face.

It was brilliant. Or at least she thought so.

Millicent exited the classroom, smirking to herself. Once again, Longbottom's potion had turned out to be a complete disaster. At least this time it didn't blow up and end up all over half the class. And thankfully, Professor Snape's hair was no longer pink.

"Nice going, Longbottom," she snickered, giving Draco a wink as she passed him to head Neville off. "Learn to do potions in your sleep?"

Warnings: She's smoking and moody. That's all the warning you get. And Miles decided to get frisky, so there's some adult content...you are warned. ;)

Millicent sat on the ledge of the Astronomy Tower. Everyone had gone to bed hours ago and there were no classes that night, so she had the space to herself. She lit a fag, inhaled the smoke and then looked up at the starry sky. She blew out the smoke as she looked up at all the stars.

She often came up to the tower to think and if she didn't want to think, she would simply try to count the stars until she forgot what she didn't want to think about.

Tonight it was the secret admirer who had sent her the journal and a mound of other things. She took another drag and shook her head. She couldn't think about that. She wouldn't think about it. Otherwise she would drive herself insane trying to figure out who it was. She realized it was better to have a friend through a book than to have a real one.

She propped against the wall and pulled her legs up, wrapping one arm around it while she finished her cigarette. Her thoughts weren't going to let her get any sleep tonight.

Draco'd been hiding out all week.  He hated them all.  Well, okay, Thai and Blaise and Millie were okay, at least.  But everyone else could just bugger off for all he cared.  At least people would forget about it soon.  After all, the first task was this weekend.  That was bound to make them forget the stupid badge, wasn't it?

Now he just had to figure out how to make it through the rest of the week.
