Everybody give a warm welcome to the following:
1. Sirs Gareth and Gawain (see icon)
Two of the infamous Orkney Brothers, and loyal knights. Currently working as ATF agents, they will no doubt be pleased to catch up with their fellow Arthurians - though Lancelot? You might get a punch in the face from Gawain, first....
2. Duke Cador of Cornwall (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ofcornwall)
Still with the Arthurians, this is the lesser known Duke of Cornwall, who is described by most chroniclers as Arthur's 'cousin'. That's a polite way of saying 'half-brother', by the way, since the two share the same mother. He's working as the US Attorney for the area of New York which includes Manhattan.
3. Harrison (onetrickpony)
No, that's not his real name, but it's all you'll be getting. Names have power, don't you know. This fellow here is a Pooka, a relatively benign faery (compared to others such as kelpies, of course), who thinks NYC should have a lot less iron, and likes to roam around Central Park in his horse form at night. He's friends with Folk, and hence is a wandering musician at the moment - though he has done things with horses in the past, for obvious reasons.
4. Okeanos (oldseadog)
The eldest son of Ouranos and Gaia, this particular Titan was in charge of lakes and streams, added the Atlantic Ocean to his portfolio, married his sister Tethys and had several soccer team's-worth of children. Currently a semi-retired US Navy Admiral, who teaches at the Merchant Marine Academy and is part owner of a bar (coincidentally, the same one which Charon has recently taken ownership of). He is also the Greek equivalent of Switzerland, having denied to take part in the overthrow of his father, and the fight against Zeus. But knowing how his family is getting involved in this particular Titomanchy, I'm not sure how well neutrality is going to sit on him these days....
5.Asclepius (ascalpel)
His life: it's complicated. The son of Apollo and the princess Coronis, he was rescued from the womb by his father, after his mother was ordered to be killed after cheating on Apollo with another mortal. Sent to be raised by Chiron (the babysitter to the Gods, apparently), he got pretty good at medicine. So good, in fact, that he could raise people from the dead - something that worried Hades, so he asked Zeus to kill Ascelpius. With a thunderbolt, no less. He was made as part of a constellation for a while, but he much prefers wandering on Earth. He currently works as a surgeon at Roosevelt Hospital's Emergency Department.
And no, don't ask him to raise the dead. He has no intention of making house calls from the Underworld.
6. Valefar (valefar)
Valefar is a Duke of Hell (call her a Duchess and you’ll soon be singing a very different tune), who is the particular favourite of thieves. She encourages them to steal, only to 'lead them to the gallows' later. Currently heads up (with fellow demon Sabnock), a law firm specialising in criminal defense, who may just be hired on a large retainer by an influential criminal organisation.
All the employees at Valefar & Nock are part of her demonic legions (except for Jan, but he's a special case). These particular aliases...well, she's blaming the recent trip Downstairs by the senior partners, and several bottles of expensive alcohol XD
7. Folk Rock (going_electric)
One of the younger members of the Music Family, Byrd is more closely related to Tom (and possibly Classic?), who she considers a...cousin, of sorts. A level-headed young lady, she's currently working as a session musician for budding folk artists. (On another note, I cannot get over how damn pretty Joan Baez is...)
