It was too cold. He disliked it. The cold weather was getting on his last damned nerve. He had just come back from Miami -- with one of his conquests, from a short vacation to found out of his nomination. He was yet to be accepted and introduced but he was sure he would win the seat to replace the ex-First Lady. Nonetheless, he sat there -- waiting for his wife, to give her the good news in person. A window seat was definitely what the media wanted -- access to pictures of the two when he explained, although, it had been all over the news for the day. Andrew sat at the small table with two chairs, white linen, cloth napkin, crystal, fine china, silver utensils and candles. It had been a months since he had taken his wife out for a meal and he really wanted to make it up -- obvious in how he sprung it up out of now where and on the table laid a flat, black velvet box beneath a dozen white roses.


He sat in the high-end restaurant with his Black Berry in palm -- typing away for a moment. The flashes of cameras outside removed his attention from the phone in his hand and it was set down at his side. His wife was escorted in and to their table. Zeus pushed from his seat to stand, her chair was pulled back by the host -- both of them taking their seats together. A hand stretched across the table, palm up for her to take. "I ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, that fine with you?" Posed the question, though, he knew that she probably wouldn't care for the meal -- as he didn't.
