Who: Hosted by Emo, See Tags.
What: PARTY!
When: October 31, from 8pm - ???
Where: Twin Roses Recording, SoHo
Warning: Drinking, drugs, language, scary costumes and maybe some naughty touching. It IS Halloween, after all.
It was starting to become a tradition, these Halloween parties of Emo's. Infamous in some circles (mostly among the uninvited mortal musicians) and certainly worth talking about the next morning. Weeks of hard work always went into getting the largest recording studio in the building cleaned out, making sure that all the places people weren't supposed to be were blocked off and all the multi-million dollar equipment was locked away somewhere it couldn't get broken. Despite the ups and downs, chaos, new additions to the family, new boyfriends, exes and all the other bullshit of the last two months, a full hour before the thing was slated to kickoff, everything was in its right place.
The studio was drenched in red light, a glowing absinthe fountain dominating one corner and an open bar set up on the other side of the room with one of the best (and best-looking) bartenders in the city behind it. There were a few mortal musicians milling around already - mostly those who'd been there all day helping to set up.
Emo had toiled away on the music for the night for a solid week - making sure that it wasn't just the same old cheesy Halloween music, but that there was also a good amount of music that was just plain creepy. And seeing who was running the show, there was plenty of that to go around - spanning from haunting folksy music to the hardcore punk that would probably be expected for an event like this.
As eight ticked nearer and then went by entirely, people started milling in - more mortals, mostly, though it was fully expected that the immortals would all see to it they made a fashionably late entrance. With Death's party going on, Emo hardly expected many of his fellow gods to show up. But those that saw fit were more than welcome.
OOC: If I forgot anyone in the tags/you're bringing a date/you want to party crash... just add yourself to the tags and drop on in. And as always, just start your thread and getting to mingling.
