Who: Zelus and Aphrodite
What: De-stressing casually in a bar. If that's possible.
Where: Random bar that's not the one where Eos found Zel, so not to induce psychological damage. (Sorry, Erynn, couldn't resist ♥)
When: Wednesday, late afternoon
Warnings: PG-13 for language to start
Traditionally, Aphrodite didn't hit bars until the sun went down.
It wasn't that she was such a devoted woman to her job that she couldn't do anything until outside of the office (not to mention that she didn't even have to go out of her office most of the times). But usually it was for the pure reasons that the prime candidates for a companion did. They were the successful ones in their jobs, with the Armani suits and the Rolexes that were oh-so-appealing. They were the ones that could keep up with the appearances and look good even if they only had a t-shirt under that suit jacket. It made things fun and easy, there were more choices.
However, today was declared a holiday, in Aphrodite's name, of course. The case of a woman sobbing about her trouble with her fiance (why she was already talking to a marriage counselor was beyond Aphrodite) had made the goddess completely losing her patience and to make up for it, she needed to refresh herself with some good company.
So, a good hour later from the mess at the office, the world found the love goddess chatting with a businessman at a nice suitable bar. Her drinks were bought for her by the nice gentleman, so Aphrodite had been nice enough to talk to him and even charm him a bit. It wasn't that she thought she had to compensate him for his kindness, it was more of wanting to take a ride in the Cadillac with red leather seats that he was talking about.
