Hello. Now that I'm a little less ~~freaked out~~ startled and have accepted that all of this is actually real, I probably should introduce myself. My name is Rasalas Black and I believe I'm from the world known as "genderswap"? I'm in my 6th year and was at Hogsmeade weekend when I wound up in what is a... very detailed replica of London. I have to hand it to whoever made it, even the paint is worn down in the right places on the shop doors.

I am a little confused about what I'm supposed to be here for, if what this place was built for is done and over with, but thank you for bringing my friends with me.

	I had Evangeline, but I honestly thought she was just joking with me about it, turns out I was joking and she was serious about it all. And Rosa was just as lost as I was. Mine left, too. He did it for me [...] and Remus, I imagine. We were both set to be unwound. By leaving, he was marked instead of me. ~~It still stings~~ Not that it makes it any less [...] unpleasant to be left. ~~I'll never see him again~~

[...] I don't fully understand the dynamics of your world in comparison to my own, but the situation is complicated. It is up to you whether you decide to give her and the others a chance, but I imagine the majority of them would be happy if you did. ~~We have a habit of dying and never seeing them again~~ My Sirius and I took some time to be able to speak to each other without hurting one another because we were both upset. It is not impossible, but no one can force you either.

I can't even begin to understand how your world thinks killing its own children is alright. They're children and didn't do anything to deserve it, besides being born.

If she wanted to speak to me, she would have. She left, and I've barely heard five words from her since then. I think it's fairly clear she's happier not talking to me, and so I'll just honour those wishes. ...I don't understand, though. If he left to keep you from getting killed, why would the two of you be upset at each other for it?

I don't know. I was born with that specific purpose in mind. The only real upside to it was that I have a very good handle on my magic.

Here is different. ~~They still love us~~ [...] She may choose to talk to you here. Colour Sirius spoke to me. [...] I didn't know it was for that reason and at the time, I was upset because I'd grown up being told that it was an honour to be unwound and he took it from me. Mostly I was upset that he left. He was upset because I was working in the Unwind Department and trading magic. In a way, it was like a betrayal. I just didn't want them to change their mind. ~~They did it anyway~~ But sometimes my decisions aren't the best ones.

It sounds rather counter productive. To have children with the intent of... not having them past a certain age. ~~I just can't see my parents wanting to~~

I honestly doubt it. I know you're just trying to help, but I very honestly don't think she will want to. ...You aren't his us. ~~An honour? To be taken apart?~~ I understand being upset he left if he didn't tell you he was doing it to help you. Your world is very different from mine. It seems very bizzare, for magic to be bought and sold that way. ~~I'd always heard that squibs came from their magic being stolen away as a child.~~

Which is why I wasn't particularly interested in continuing the trend. I believe it will be expected of me in the future ~~but I will die before I can follow through~~.

No. I am not ~~but I know enough about~~. There is still a chance. It is different. Narcissa and I grew up as tithes, which doesn't really afford you many friends as you are set to die before too long and no one really knows how to feel about it. We were, however, allowed to practise magic all the time, even outside of school on the holidays and over summer as the idea is that you are to have very strong magic. The better the magic, the more you can get for it. I still don't know what prompted the decision to go forward with it, but I'm glad I don't have to worry about it here.
