	I am lucky you're not a Sirius for many reasons. There were other people who were here and disappeared right before her birthday. The genderswapped version of her mum, her world's version of mine. 	I think [...] that there may be more at stake, Tonks. You know that if Teddy was to be sent back, he has those who love him and will take care of him. But Charlie has always been more of a loner. He lost so much when he lost you. Not that I mean to make you feel guilty. natural to worry about him. She was pretty torn up. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Things never quite end up how you think they will, do they? Well except in some worlds where they probably do but those versions of us probably thought things would end up differently than we do. I can't feel guilty about what happened, honestly. Not here, when it doesn't solve any problems, just makes them.

They've got a good relationship. When one or the other isn't missing, of course. I still feel the splinters from when she left.

	Not at all. The life I have now [...] I couldn't imagine having even a quarter of it when I was eighteen. But you're absolutely right. What matters new is that you're both here, and nothing should stand in the way of that. Especially things that neither of you can control. They're very close at home, too, from what I have gathered. 	Sometimes I wonder if he would have gone to Romania if I'd told him before he left. But I don't really want to know the answer. I'll take what is here and not ask for more. That's good. I wish he had her back home to dote on. I know he feels lost here with his nieces and nephews so much older and self-sufficient. I'm not sure if he has that with any of them. 	I think we both know that he needed to go there. It helped shape him, after all. He's always been so good with all of the nieces and nephews he has at home, but then again, they're all still young for him. When Erin came back do much older than she was, I was so scared for him.
