Warnings: TBD, probably none.

It turned out to be a good thing that Tonks had suggested Remus had come by later in the day. After what Albus had told her last night, and the subsequent mild breakdown this morning, she hadn't been the best company earlier in the day. Not that she was in her usual chipper mood now, but she was doing... better. Her hair was pink at least, which was saying something to anyone who knew her. And she was coping, or well, trying her best to. It wasn't the sort of thing you could cope with so easily, finding out you died in your future.
But she was well enough for company now, or most sorts of company. Remus she felt she would make an exception for even if she hadn't been in the best of moods. The truth was, she wanted to see him. Or well, she wanted to see her Remus, but he wasn't here. She knew of course that none of the other Remuses were the same as hers, but it didn't stop her from being curious about all of them. It was impossible not to be, not to want to learn about them, even if they were AU versions of him and not the man she eventually apparently married.
Running her fingers through her short pink hair, Tonks brushed her hands down, straightening out the shirt she wore over her pair of jeans; there wasn't really much of a selection in this place when it came to clothing, so this would have to do. There had to be something to spice it up a bit, though... like one of the bracelets she'd been wearing when she came here. It wasn't much, but she rather felt she'd like having at least something from home to wear. Besides, taking the time to look for it was better than just sitting around, alone with her thoughts. So with the door of her room propped open slightly in case Remus came by, Tonks turned her attention towards rummaging through her room, in search of the missing bracelet.
