Who: Hermione and Ginny ^UKR
What: An anniversary, a vigil, a fire and smores
When: Evening, February 12.
Where: Outside the compound.
Why: "Tonighhhhht we are younng!"

Lying on her back, staring up at the sky, Hermione couldn't help but wonder exactly what sky they were under tonight, what world's, and if there was a difference. It was starry out tonight, not a cloud in the sky, the temperature - at least around the fire that they'd spelled up was pleasant enough that she didn't have to worry about the coat that she was currently using as a pillow.

Glancing to her left - careful that her fly away hair got nowhere near the fire, Hermione watched Ginny for a moment. After so many years of this being a day of mourning, today, it actually felt somewhat normal. There was a pain, one that wouldn't be forgotten, but it was more difficult to allow it to overtake her when the individual she was mouring was lying just on the other side of the campfire.

Hermione pushed herself up, using a stick she'd found to tend to the fire, checking the state of the smores they'd left sitting atop one of the two stones they'd found and cleaned before using it as a cooking surface. She frowned to herself as she glanced at the state of the supplies that she'd brought. "Should have grabbed more," she said holding up the one bag of marshmallows they had. "You think we can make due with just one?" Heavier talks could wait a little bit longer... especially a she reached into the bag and threw one of the white fluff balls at her friend.

Hermione let out a small amused snort and rolled her eyes. "Chaser reflexes," she smirked. Catching the marshmallow was just showing off. But she had to admit she was impressed that the little blob actually made it to her friend instead of just falling into the fire. After all these things were meant to be eaten!

"If we really need to I guess we could. I guess what we should be more worried about is running out of chocolate. Given how many people are in the compound? This world may be out of it by the end of the week," she laughed.

"So...." she started casually. "You and Harry?" It actually sounded weird in a way. Because of course it was Ginny and Harry! Of course they were talking. Games world Harry was someone that Hermione has grown to really like. But he and Ginny seemed to be talking a lot. She had to poke her about it.

"I miss it," Ginny admitted, a wistful grin on her face. "I should do more of it here. But the experiments and the drama seem to get in the way a lot of the time." Maybe she'd take a broom out tomorrow.

Settling back into her recumbent position, she grinned up at the sky. "Well the chocolate has to come from somewhere, so if it inconveniences the scientists, that's alright by me. We should all endeavor to eat more chocolate. There should be at least 5 Rons to take on this world." And hopefully never their Ron.

"You'll have to be more specific than that, there are only about 6 of them here." Yes, she was evading the question, but this was also Hermione.
