This isn't Los Angeles. I'm supposed to be at the Institute and people will be looking for me when they notice I'm missing.

Okay, it looks like we finally got this network running, sorry this took so long, guys. There were some hiccups.
If you don't know me yet, I'm Lt. Commander Steve McGarrett, I work with the 5-0 taskforce here in Hawaii. We don't know how you got here and we don't know how to get you home. All communication with the mainland and every other nation has ceased. Boats and planes cannot get anywhere away from the islands. I can't explain it, no one can.
If you arrived here out of the blue, you should be getting an alien ID (it has nothing to do with your citizenship, it's just about how you got HERE) and a house in Lehua Village. I wish I could say the great people of Hawaii were all welcoming, but some aren't. So unless you're traveling to and from work or for an emergency, we prefer you stay indoors after dark. This is for your own safety.
Some places won't serve you. Others will make you sit in a certain section. There are beaches here that are now guarded and you need to use the beaches that you are allowed to.
I'm sorry, I truly am. But for now, there's not much I can do. My main goal is to keep everyone alive. If you need anything, you can find me here or at The Palace.
