Journal Post-Astoria Greengrass
I hate to be judgmental about people's fashion choices (okay...I rather make my career being a bit of that...) but I would like to take a moment to explain to those who are trying to dress in muggle styles while not having much experience around muggles that:

1) While I applaud trying to mix prints, this is just...a disaster. The gold hat might work in Diagon, but no muggle would be caught dead in it, as far as I can tell. You won't be blending in so much as creating stares.
2) I don't even know what to say about this outfit, except that's NOT what a muggle suit looks like. PLEASE, if you really want to walk among muggles, try one of our robes-to-suits at Twilfit & Tattings rather than something like this. You'd be better off in robes!
3) Okay this might actually be something a muggle WOULD wear, but only one dead set on being alone forever. Please never put something like this on. Ever.

Just a little heads up from your friendly fashion guru. Look for my new column in Witch Weekly!

Thank you kindly, Astoria. I find your insight on fashion to be as astute as ever.

I hate to think about people breaking the statute since they don't understand the fashions.

Wizards who plan on moving outside the wizarding world ought to understand it a bit.

Perhaps if more had paid attention in Muggle Studies class, they would not wind up in such situations. Though even then, there are more than enough Muggleborn and Halfblood persons who are familiar with the other side of the divide to give advice as need be.

However, no amount of information can save those who know but are simply fashion inept to a terrible degree.

I fear I may need to replace a set of robes that came by an unfortunate accident. Would you have any openings this week?

I must be honest, my interest in muggles extends only as far as fashion, which I find quite fascinating. But I think a lot of wizards just think they can throw on any old muggle clothes and it will be fine, but then they draw unnecessary attention to themselves instead of blending in.

That is quite true...I should offer my services to help the fashion challenged.

Of course! Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and Friday evening I have room for appointments.

I remember several such wizards when I first started working at the Ministry, and thanked my stars I didn't take their advice on what to wear.

Perhaps you should. Is there a market for a personal consultant?

Tuesday afternoon would be convenient for me. Would 3:00pm be a good time?

Oh goodness. I imagine they make the Obliviators jobs very difficult.

I'm not sure, I suppose I could advertise and see, hmm?

3:00pm on Tuesday afternoon it is. I'll put you down then. Delighted to see you again, Mr. Weasley.

I believe the attitude at the time had been "Well, somebody needs to make sure the Obliviators' jobs are secure."

Perhaps - as well, your new column may function as an advertisement in itself.

Excellent, I will see you then. And the pleasure is mine, Ms. Greengrass.

I have a feeling their jobs are always secure, but that doesn't need we need make it harder!

I'd like it think it would function as that.

You're always one of my favorite customers, Mr. Weasley.

Oh Blaise, surely YOU would not dress so ridiculous. I'd always found your taste very normal, at the least.

I think it's easier not to dress too crazily myself.

How are you, Blaise? Having a nice weekend, are you?

I'll have to add that then to my list of date qualifications.

I am well. Any weekend with a party is a good weekend.

Not a bad idea for one, honestly.

Oh? I didn't go to a party this weekend, but I'm glad you had fun! I just went back to the manor, but it was good to see my parents of course.

Father is busy, as always, in the Ministry. Mother spends most her time thinking about the wedding. I don't mind discussing plans, but this much talk of it does weary the soul.

I do recall seeing him in the lift the other day for a brief second.

I am always available to sweep you away if you wish.

Oh, that's nice then! The Department isn't keeping you too busy, is it?

That's very gallant of you, Blaise. I appreciate the sentiment. Thankfully Draco doesn't talk too much of it so at least there's that.

At least you enjoy spending time with him.

I imagine you do! At least it's never boring. That's what I always think when it's crazy in the shop.

I do. I'll be quite happy spending my life with him.

No, it gives you something in common with your future mother-in-law. Malfoy parties were always some of the grandest.
