Journal Justin
So my family is harassing me about Holidays already, demanding that I take off to be with them because I am a Fletchley and I cannot miss two Christmases in a row. It is my duty to attend and would I please bring a lovely girlfriend/fiancée this time. I'm 24 and shouldn't still be single. Ah well..

On the other hand, Grandmère has been leaving messages for me to call her back saying it's important. Turns out they want to see me too for the Holidays and I could bring a nice boyfriend this year too.

Guess where I'll spend my Holidays? Without the boyfriend though

[Ernie]

Ernie, I feel terrible.

Don't mistake their request to see me as anything but control over my life

I'm choosing my family. I don't need to be belittled and laughed at on Christmas

It's a good choice.

I wish I had it.
