Nothing as refreshing as a morning jog from Kensington to Monument Alley, especially with the soaking rain, but that just made the day even better.

How is everyone else out there enjoying the rain?

[Private to Adrian]
I think you left something important at my house. Stop by my office to pick it up when you have a break?

[Private to Oliver]
He makes me smile like Melinda makes you smile.

[Private to Richard]
I heard a little birdie tweeting that you were in town this weekend. Is that still true and if so: lunch sometime this week?

[Private to Susan]
You were right.

Spinner!

How are you and the little Spinoffs? Tell them their Uncle Rich will drop by and see them soon.

Your stool pigeon was right. Came back the middle of last week. Even better, I'm based out of the London office now.

What say Wednesday afternoon about 1pm and I'll take the rest of the afternoon off?

Summerby!

Not too bad. The Fawlettes are back in school, Quidditch season's back on so I'm once again spending time around whining divas and today I'm enjoying the rain and catching up on a lot of some paperwork. How about you?

I will be sure to let them know that you'll be around. They'll be thrilled!

Based out of the London office? As in you'll actually be in London on a regular basis and lunches will be easier to schedule?

Wednesday sounds brilliant. I'll be in Portree until noon, but I'll be off for the rest of the day, barring any Foundation calls. Mind if we go Muggle this time? I need to keep the phone on.

I'm suffering through The Attack of the Paperwork Monster myself. If you hear if anyone looking for an office manager's job, send them my way.

Based as in finally scraped the knuts together to buy a junior partnership. My own office and sleeping in my own bed most nights. Easing my way back into the social scene. Such a novelty.

I'll check a car out of the company motor pool then. Any place in mind? Foreign, fancy, fish and chips? Or should I cook and you can have a splash in the hot tub after? Had some workmen in when I was out of the country. Old tub is gone and I had a bigger one put in. May have to throw a party to christen it, but you can have first look if you'd like.

The Attack of the Paperwork Monster! Coming to a theatre near you! I'll keep my eyes and ears out, though I'm looking for a part-timer for the Foundation myself.

Junior partnership? Richie, that's great! As for easing your way back into the social scene... it can be done, I think; I'm working on that myself.

A car? Why not do as a regular Londoner and take the Tube? Or Apparate to an alley behind the cafe. The hot tub does sound tempting, oh, so tempting, and I want to say yes, but rain check? There's a someone I'd like to prepare a little before I, literally, get into hot water with a tall, handsome man, so how about J+A Cafe on Sutton Lane?

I was going to offer myself as your plus-one and we could explore the social scene together, but if there's a someone, suspect that might not work, eh?

The tube is so... well, you know. You are now a lady of substance. Thought you might get a kick being chauffeured around town in style. Besides, there's this new Bentley I've been wanting to check out. But if you insist. I know the place.

Remind me to show you my Blackberry mobile phone. There's some Swiss wizards do them up all shielded and such. Mine works just about everywhere but inside the Ministry of Magic.

No reason why the social scene can't be explored with a friend? Different occasions calls for different attitudes, right? I know I'll find comfort in knowing you're around there, too.

Plain? Stuffed? Smelly? You're right, though I would get a kick out of it, so screw the tube and pick me up on Sheffield Terrace no earlier than half past? Sometimes I wonder if I'm really cut out for this life, but being completely honest, there are things I enjoy about it.

A shielded up mobile phone? That would come in handy while at the office. On the other hand, it's nice to know that the only interruptions there comes via Floo, Owl or personal appearance while someone else handles the calls on the Muggle side.

My gods, I sound like an office person. How did that happen?

Right luv. There for you whenever you need me. Just set down the rules so I don't queer your deal with this mysterious 'someone'.

Look for a steel gray Bentley. I'll be there.

No floo in my building, office minions handle owls, the switchboard takes most calls. Only people who have my cell number get to talk to me direct. Which makes me sound just as respectable as you. Disgusting, isn't it?

That goes for you, too. As for this mysterious 'someone'... you're kidding me, right? Or has it really been that long since I've seen you? Because apparently everybody knew, yet didn't find it fitting to tell me until recently.

Then I'll be the blonde pretending to be adult and mature enough to being chauffeured in a steel gray Bentley.

A little disgusting, there's just something so ubelievably satisfying in knowing that I helped out the person on the other end and didn't just hand it over to someone else.

And just who is there in my life other than you to fill me in on the good gossip?

I'll have to see if I can find one of those hats the chauffeurs all wear.

It's like the doorbell on my flat. Only people that push the button are muggle salespeople. You, at least, are helping people. Speaking of which, the usual cashier's check is in the post. Upped it to fifteen thou. It's been a good year.

Ah, yeah. Well, we really need to get you back onto the social scene, because yours truly is so out of the loop when it comes to gossip, even the good gossip. But to answer your initial question - because it really isn't a secret. Do you remember Adrian Pucey? Our year, Chaser, Slytherin, grouch extraordinaire, runs his own little private business as a Potions Master? You'll like him; he's a Falcon's man as well.

I'm springing for lunch if you were one of those hats!

FIFTEEN THOUSAND!!?! A good year, indeed! Do you have any idea what we can do with that much money? I'm tempted to write words here that I'd never say unless something horrible had happened, though apparently in this case too. Richard, thank you so much. You really shouldn't be anonymous about this.

Right. Didn't even have a ready plus-one for a Puff birthday party the other night. So you know I haven't a clue what's going on. All I can say is good luck to both of you. Don't really know him myself.

What's it worth if I get the whole uniform?

I know, and people are being helped. That's enough for me.

Really? Well, at least you won't be alone in not knowing what's going on. Actually it's not completely true, but the circle of people I do know what's going on with is rather small.

Drinks will be included.

At least attend the Christmas party when it's time, then?

I'll show up for the party on the condition there's no fuss made. I like my anonymity. I have my reputation as a selfish pureblood to think about.

Of course, although generally they tend to be fuss free, with just a general thank you and no names named. The only names mentioned anywhere, are the names that are listed on the list of donors. That's it.

If it will make you happy, put my name on the donor list.

Not a chance!

I will do that only when I believe you're not just doing it for my sake.
