Fic: Robe shopping
Who: Dora and OPEN

What: Shopping

Where: The Alleys

When: late afternoon

Rating: SFW at least for now

Dora loved shopping. She knew it was at odds with her general air some of the time, especially for the period of time when she'd been dirt poor and transfigured the majority of her clothing. No one had ever realized the true extent of how poor she'd been, and she'd liked it that way.

Now she had the funds, within reason, but no company, with Mils being so busy and having no other close girl friends. It took a little of the joy out of the finds, though she still had a decent time.

She sighed as she flipped through one of the racks of robes. She might have to just get something tailored, she thought idly, but pulled one out anyway, holding it up to herself in the mirror to one side.

"True. I never can find something that's exactly what I'm looking for when I'm looking for it," she said with a rueful smile. "Isn't that always the way? Though these days it's generally just buying for work." She shrugged. She did have a few more social engagements than she used to,b ut it was almost always in conjunction with something pureblooded.

"You shopping for something in particular or just for a future occasion?" she asked with idle curiosity as she peered through the rack again.
