Journal: Melinda
Just in time for the start of the 2005/-06 Quidditch season and due to popular demand, Sweet Nothings will be adding the team cakes to the menu for the next three weeks, starting this Tuesday. Like last year, the cakes are a generous 1-serving size, however special orders for larger cakes are also welcome.

We're still looking for full- or part-time employees to fill the position Bryn left when he started up Crumbs (We would like to use this opportunity to give him our fullest recommendation and support: If you haven't tried his sandwiches, you've missed out!). Training will be provided and we will do what we can to find the best suitable tasks for you.

Team Cakes

Appleby Arrows - Pale blue Vanilla Cake with silver Cream Cheese Filling and Topping.
Ballycastle Bats - Chocolate Velvet Cake with scarlet Cream Cheese Icing.
Caerphilly Catapults - Mint Cake with Red Velvet Cake swirls, iced with red and green striped Butter Cream.
Chudley Cannons - Carrot Cake with orange and black Cream Cheese Frosting.
Falmouth Falcons - Earl Grey Poppy Seed Tea Cake with zesty citrus Butter Cream Filling and dark grey Vanilla Fondant.
Holyhead Harpies - Green Chocolate Fudge Cake with gold Chocolate Icing.
Kenmare Kestrels - Green Tea and Lemon Opera Cake.
Montrose Magpies - Black Chocolate Cake with bittersweet Ganache and Vanilla Bean Buttercream.
Pride of Portree - Blackberry Mousse Cake with gold Biscuit base.
Puddlemere United - Ombre layers of blue Vanilla, Caramel and Chocolate Sponge Cake with Salted Caramel Filling and gold Chocolate Ganache.
Tutshill Tornados - White Chocolate Blueberry Cheesecake.
Wigtown Wanderers - Raspberry Victoria Sponge Cake with silver Orange Buttercream Icing.
Wimbourne Wasps - Banana Cake with black Chocolate Mousse Filling and yellow Buttercream Icing.

So, ladies, we have some birthdays coming up. Same procedure as last year?

[Warded to Viktor]
Are you free tonight?

Initially, practical help around the shop, either with arranging displays and/or servicing customers (including brewing tea and coffee). If the interest is there, training in order to help out with the baking and/or decoration of cakes and dessert can be arranged. It all depends on the interests and skills of the employee.

Are you interested?

Possibly. I don't have any experience serving customers, but I've been brewing tea and coffee for the other artists in my studio for a few months. I can bake a little, too.

I don't know if I would be suitable.

For some, that would be more than enough experience to master the position, for others, not quite so much, so I believe there is only one way to find that out, and that is for you to try it out.

I am interested in giving you the chance and to see for myself, so if you're still interested, come down to the shop when you have time, and we can take it from there.
