Journal: merlin help me
[Private]

You're kidding me, right? Lee Da starts at the shop like two weeks ago and NOW she tells me she's totally unavailable for evening hours? I mean, it's great to have help during the day so I can get into the office and work on marketing and the books, but it'd be nice to have a night off every so often, too. That's why I was hiring in the first place, right?

[Public]

McLaggen's Magical Sports is hiring again. Looking for part time, a couple of nights a week if possible, would be a great help! Think about it - spending time with quidditch talk, gobstones, wizard chess sets...? Plus, I train, and it really can be good fun and we pay well, to boot. Lee Da, who works during the day, is very nice and keeps thing as neat as possible considering the kids coming in and out, too. Send a journal if you're interested!

Can you believe this? Should I feel totally offended that Lee Da would give me one schedule when she's hired and then immediately change it? You aren't working nights this week by any chance are you? Because I am, and I'd love the same schedule to have some epic morning sleep ins...

Brilliant! You'd have your pick of nights; Tuesday-Saturday - 3pm-7:30pm. We're open 3-7, and usually there's thirty minutes (or so, usually less to be honest) of tidying. Lee Da works Tuesday-Friday roughly 7am-Noon. I'm there otherwise and most days working on the business side of things. I'd just honestly like some evenings away and it's a little bit ridiculous that two years in I'm still on the sales floor, I'd say.

Let me know what you think?

Wednesdays on a rotation basis I've got some work at Wingbeat from 1 to 3 in the afternoon, so starting at 3 on those days wouldn't work for me. However, I think as long as I could be out by half seven on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, it should work out just fine for me.

I should note that I do have a probation worker who will likely want to speak to you before hiring me and most likely from time to time during my employment. I can't give you a precise schedule or anything for that since I've no idea how often he'll want to check in, but I thought it important to mention.
