Oooh Let's make time, LET'S!
Who: Justin and Seamus

What: Justin doesn't want to go home alone.

Where: Finnigan's

When: Thursday September 4th

Rating: We'll see? R for now. :P NSFW I REPEAT NSFW

Justin dragged his feet (almost literally) to Finnigan's and he dropped on the nearest seat at the bar. He was tired and just wanted a day off, which had really not happened in almost 2 weeks. Now a bunch of people owed him favors and he planned to cashing them ALL. Maybe not all at once, but he'd change shifts whenever possible, especially now that he had finally seen his schedule for next week. That would be his week at the Janus Thickey Ward and he would be working evenings.

He liked working evenings and was even considering taking one of the permanent spots that would be opening soon. Regular hours and regular days off. "Hit me with.. um.." He frowned. "Just an ale." He would have liked something stronger, but seriously he was such a lightweight and he wasn't with Ernie this time.

Justin chuckled. "I was in here just the other night." He told Seamus then thanked him for the ale. He took one good look at him and noticed something about his friend. He seemed.. rushed, possibly even stressed, not unlike himself. "You okay though?" he asked.

"Were you?" Seamus asked, a little distracted as he glanced around the bar to make sure there were no customers demanding his attention. "Not like me not to notice you..." He smiled again, his eyes wandering down what was visible of Justin's body.

He gave a sigh, pushing his hair out of his eyes now that his hands were free. "Busy. Our chef quit, so now I'm single-handed for the night."

Justin caught Seamus' glance wandering and he smiled. "Well, I got whisked away rather quickly by Ernie and then Susan joined and we settled further from the bar." He explained then sighed. Seamus was all alone tonight and it wasn't okay.

"Please let me help? I'm not a good cook, but I'm pretty sure I can help somehow." he said. Offering his help was the least he could do.

Seamus tutted. "Ernie and Susan have all the fun." He stepped away from Justin briefly to take a customer's payment of a tab. Then, another demanded his attention and he ended up putting together an order of three shots and chasers. "Sorry," he muttered when he finally made it back.

"No, it's fine. You've probably had a long day yourself, no?" He might not be a mediwizard, but he knew the kind of work it involved.

Justin laughed. "Hey, no need to apologized. It's packed tonight." he said with a smile. "Well, they do have some fun, but not all. Well, at least not that" His eyebrows waggled twice then he sipped his drink. He tried to choose his words carefully, because he may be a flirt, but he didn't want everyone to know he was shagging Seamus once in a blue moon.

"But hey, stepping in is what I do best. And the sooner it clears out, the sooner I can have you all to myself." He winked at Seamus and smiled. "Come on, I can do the dishes." He was offering so that Seamus could have a break at some point. Running around for so long wasn't too good.

The harassed pinch of Seamus's mouth gave way to a genuine smile at Justin's obvious flirting. "Oh yeah?" He was suddenly more aware then ever of the visible skin at Justin's collar. "It's been a while since we had fun..." Too long, definitely too long. Seamus didn't really have time to flirt, as evidenced by the fact that yet another patron called him away to bring another bottle of wine.

"I can leave the washing up til tomorrow," Seamus pointed out. "I'm not letting you do extra work. I know you Hufflepuffs - you'd all work yourselves to the bone if we didn't stop you." He set a few glasses to cleaning with a charm. "Are you coming to Susan's tomorrow?"

Justin absentmindedly licked his lips as Seamus mentioned how long it had been for them. But he was also reminded that Seamus was insanely busy right now. "Well, it's not better if you work yourself to death either. Otherwise.." He didn't finish his sentence, leaving the other man's mind to fill up the gap.

"Yup, she enrolled Ernie and me to help out and I don't really have to be at the hospital before Monday because of favors.."

Seamus followed the dart of Justin's tongue along his lip with a smile. "You're free all weekend?" That was... promising. Seamus had been waiting a while for this, he could wait a few more days. His weekend was already busy but - "I'm free after all the meetings on Sunday?"

He floated the glasses back into their rack, certain they'd be in use again shortly. He took a sip of his own water from behind the bar. "You want to come over for... dinner? I'll even cook."

He cocked his head to the side and smiled. Seamus coming over was always an amazing treat and it was brightening up his future. "I'm fine with dinner, yeah. When do you finish?" he asked softly. These matters weren't anyone else's business at all.

"I'm not letting you cook, we can order, okay?" Since he lived in Muggle London, order food or getting take out was mostly how he sustained himself.

"Local Business Bureau usually finishes about three," Seamus answered before rolling his eyes as yet another patron called him away. Once he was back he smiled, trying to recall the thread of their conversation. Right. Plans for Sunday. "So... anytime after about four?" His stomach flipped over a little. It had really been a long time since he'd done this.

"We can order, if you like. Though in that case maybe we should eat at yours? I don't think muggle places deliver to Monument Alley." He grinned and nodded to himself. Actually, that would be better. He didn't like warding the flat against Dean and Susan - but he'd also prefer they didn't walk in on anything they shouldn't.

Justin's smiled widened and he nodded. "I think it's a great idea. You do have my address, right?" he asked, licking his lips again. He wasn't really conscious that he was doing it, but the idea of having Seamus at his flat.. all his for the night, seemed like the most appealing thing in the moment. Even more than food.

Seamus was just a little bit tempted to lean across the bar and kiss Justin right there. He wouldn't, because that would be unprofessional, but he did give Justin's hand a little squeeze across the bar. "You want another?" he asked, gesturing to Justin's glass.

"Depends," He said with a chuckle. "Do you plan on bringing me home?" There was no way he'd allow himself to Apparate home after two ales. Might not seem like a lot to some people, but for Justin, it really was enough to make him feel dizzy and usually his 'no PDA' rule went out the window.

Seamus felt his face heat. He couldn't deny the idea was tempting, even though they'd just agreed to meet on Sunday. It wasn't as if there was really any reason not to... "Depends how early you're working tomorrow," he said quietly. "You can stay here til I close up if you want, and I'll make sure you get home."

Justin nodded. "Okay, I'll take seconds then." He said, smiling and biting his lower lip. "I'm not working tomorrow. Told you, people owed me favors for the past few weeks." He waggled his eyebrows, his gaze locked with Seamus'

Seamus poured him his second ale, noting with relief that the press of customers was starting - at last - to lessen. He stuck a blue cocktail umbrella into it (he was still finding nearly-empty containers of the things everywhere) and delivered it before striding the length of the bar to make sure no one needed him. Three beers, two cocktails and a coffee later he returned, hooking his stool out from where it was stowed. "That's right. No work, but you're helping Susan. She's not going to make you get up early to go shopping or anything?"

Justin laughed. "Getting me to get up early for anything other than food is a risky enterprise." He replied with a smile. He took the little umbrella out of the drink and smirked. "And really, she knows where to find me if she needs my help."

Seamus's ever restless hands reached for the deck of cards in his pocket. He wouldn't start a game - it was too busy for that - but at least shuffling them would give his hands something to do. Something other than position the umbrella behind Justin's ear. "And, but it's Susan," Seamus pointed out. "She loves risk."

Justin giggled (an effect of the alcohol, really) and smiled, nodding. "Yup, Susan and risks." He chuckled and bit his lower lip. He leaned in and put his elbow onto the counter, his chin resting in his open palm. "Ah well, she's amazing at so many levels."

Seamus was very grateful for the deck of cards in his hands, because without them he might have broken his 'don't snog the customers' rule. The way Justin leaned in and bit his lip was like an open invitation to everything Seamus hadn't had in months. Knowing how easy it would be once they began didn't help matters. Knowing he wouldn't have to worry about anything... "What?" he asked a moment later, the thread of their conversation lost in recollections and imaginings.

Justin looked at Seamus' hands, shuffling cards, and he smiled again. A ale and a half and it seemed like masking his obvious desire for the other man wasn't happening anymore. "I dunno.." He said softly, shrugging. "I got distracted."

Seamus chuckled low in his throat. "Me too," he admitted. "Thinking about..." Well. It should really be obvious to Justin - though thankfully not to anyone else - what he'd been thinking about. He checked the clock but there still seemed to be forever to go until he could take Justin home.

Justin licked his lips and cocked his head to the side, his chin still resting against his palm. "Guess we're thinking about the same thing." He picked up a napkin and one of the pens he kept in his pocket (much more portable than quills) and scribbled on it before folding it and pushing it towards Seamus.

Neither of us are going to bed early tonight, you realize that, yeah?</i>
