Susan,

Could I stay with you for a few days a while? I quit my job, and I told my sister I need to move out, but I don't even know how to start finding a job or a place to stay in the wizarding world. Seamus at Finnigan's told me the Leaky Cauldron has rooms, so I'm staying there tonight. That way I can receive owls without anyone caring.

I've got in touch with Richard Summerby about jobs - he mentioned something before about maybe being able to help. Do you remember him from Hufflepuff? I'm not sure how many years above us he was precisely. Two or three, I think. I just hope I can actually If he's using a muggle fax machine I guess there can't be too much magic going on in his office, right?

Can your terrifying mother get the Ministry to just leave me alone for a while? I'm doing what they want, I can't do it any faster.

Is your house on the floo network? If not, I guess I need to stay at the Leaky or with my sister until the end of March so I can get to work.

Hmmm I don't think even my mother could get the Ministry from backing off on a witch or wizard living so brazenly with Muggles, love... You have to have Ministerial pull to get them to calm down about possible breaches of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.

My house is definitely on the floo network, the fireplace in the reception room on the first floor is the principle exit, but I've used the one in my office before as well.
