Puppies! Kittens! Dogs and cats!

As well as a couple of birds and the odd rabbit.

We have a bunch of these up for adoption at The Bestiary. Lovable and cuddly and perfect for a companion in any season. If you're interested or even just want to help out, please stop by any time!

Have you considered posting pictures of some of the animals with blurbs about them/their personalities? Not that you need help with your work or anything. I just had the random thought that it'd be kind of fun to do a featured adoptable pet of the week/month with a picture or two and a little bit of information.

I really do need to do that. Unfortunately my camera was broken a while back, but I can go buy a new one so I can. Thank you for the suggestion!

You're welcome! I'd offer my services, but the last ti And I'll admit, I'm excited to see your featured animals when you get around to doing it!

Hopefully this week. I'm playing with the new camera now.

Can I just come cuddle the animals? I was super tempted to say I'd take one of the cats, but it's still not practical for me. And I could really do with some non-judgemental cuddling right now.

Actually, yes you can! A lot of volunteers simply come and help socialize with the animals, which is something that is very much needed. You can cuddle them, groom them, take them for walks, teach them tricks. You're welcome to come by any time and visit with them.

Excellent news. You'll probably see me in the next few days then.

Brilliant. First time, just give me a heads up and I can give you a run down of who is where and such, though every kennel has a detailed description on the outside; after that, I'll just make sure the wards give you access. If you take them out for a walk, there's a sign out form just so we can keep track.

Otherwise, the cuddles are all yours.

Oh, I wish I could adopt one of those lovely puppies I met last month! My darling kitten Sherlock would never forgive me, though.

Well, you can always bring Sherlock in and see if he gets along with the puppy, or take the puppy for a week and see if they get along. Cats and dogs can get along, depending on personalities and age, oftentimes. I'll take him back if they don't get on, of course, no harm no foul.

Perhaps I can bring her down to keep the puppies company some afternoon? She's not even a year yet, so I'd hate to scare her.

That would be fine. I'll make sure they're exercised first, so the initial enthusiasm won't scare her.

It's a date then! I'll be in with her sometime soon, and send a note before so we don't just crash right in. This should be fun!
