Journal - Dragons
I had hoped my name wouldn't come up, but I just got an owl summoning me to help with a dragon.

The only help I'm generally asked to do with that, is when one dies and the parts have to be taken care of, which can be rather lengthy and messy.

So I'll be away several days, I fear. I'll find someone to mind the shop while I'm gone, even if it's Grandfather.

Private to Rose
Sorry I have to go so quickly, love. I'll be back as soon as I can. Love you! Can you take care of Bast while I'm away?

Private to Dennis
Sorry I'll miss lunch tomorrow, but I'll be back soonest, yes? Raincheck?

Miss you, too. Always do.

I'll scrub and rub and soothe and smoothe when you get back, and then we'll get messy - the fun way - afterwards!

I probably will let her. She'll be a poor substitute for you, but a girl needs her snuggles, right?

That sounds like a brilliant plan to me.

Just don't let her suffocate you in her cattish non-enthusiasm. For she can never be enthusiastic, you know. It would be beneath her dignity.
