I meant to write this earlier, to thank each and every one of you who came out to last weekend’s fundraiser, showing their support by donating either time, money, or services. For an event that was kept down to earth – compared to other formally set fundraisers – I was stunned when Gringott’s informed us that we had raised over 7000 Galleons.

7000 Galleons means that we can launch a new project with either 1 full-time employee or 2 part-timers, at least. We still have some ways to go before we can announce this project, but you still made it possible.

A while back we talked very briefly about the need and the possibility of a group home for the children who might need it. As it is, that need is unfortunately beginning to increase (or it will pretty soon), but is this something you’re still interested in? As you can see, we’ve raised the funds that can make it possible, and I would love to hear your input and ideas on it.
