Have I told you yet how much your support means to me and how proud and grateful I was and am to be with you and have you believe in me?

Considering it's taken us a couple of years to get here, I don't think it's too soon to ask something like that (yes, I can read what you crossed out there), and it's been on my mind for a bit, so I'm figuring why not let you in on this. I would love to go meet your family, and not just because St. Thomas sounds like a wonderful place. I know that when we talked about skiing, we weren't really where we are now, but I'd still like you to come along with us, so how about we combine the two things? I've never been skiing State-side but have heard that there are some nice places there, and then we can visit with your family either before or after?

I am all set with a sitter. Still have the same nanny that we've had for years, so that is no problem at all. I'm nervous as all that, but ready, the robe is ready, the shoes are ready and appointments have been made to have hair, nails and all the other obligatory girly things fixed.

Can't wait to see you, too. Miss you.

	Of course I believe in you, anyone who doesn't is daft. Which I am not. And you, of course, are absolutely brilliant. This sounds like a wonderful holiday. No, you're not, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't feel good to have you do so.

That sounds like a good plan + it'll give us a chance to even out the tans, too. End of December/early January, maybe? We don't have any set plans for Christmas, so now's the chance before any of the family gets their hooks in us.

Will black and silver clash too horribly with your robes, or is that too traditional and/or boring?
